Yes Listen to Hair Buddha. he knows his stuff for now on people watch his video before you want to dye or bleach your hair thanks so very much Buddha..love it.. yes i learn and love it
I wanted to go back to my natural dark blonde from red and followed your tips and watched the video on how to bleach hair. I just got tired of the upkeep, regrowth and just felt like my scalp needs a long break after being either black or red for almost 15 years. Black for the first 13 and red for the past 2. I've decided not to dye my hair at all in 2022. I bleached yesterday and dyed today. It was a success. It's not perfect because I'm not a hair stylist, but it looks very good none the less and my hair is not absolutely fried or breaking off. I dyed it a shade lighter than my real haircolour because getting the same shade from a bottle is impossible so now my regrowth will be a bit darker than my lengths. People on my Instagram were shocked but it's mostly because they have never seen me blonde. 😂
I'd love for you to do some quick tutorials on what to use for different coloring situations to help us be successful. Although, I really love your commentary on these hair fail videos. 😆
On the subject of research-- it's not easy. So many products and methods, seemingly all contradicting each other. I've spent ages watching videos and reading articles, to find the best practices. It is anxiety provoking if I don't walk away from the notes, spreadsheets, etc. That said, the research paid off and my hair gets compliments ☺️ Every time I refine my techniques and I'm slightly more confident about coloring my hair
She looks like a million dollars with her new haircut and her dark hair back. This style really brings out her features, and makes her look even more striking than she did before she started. It's making me think about cutting my waist length hair into a similar style, though I'm not yet ready to give up my ruby red for the gray/white "color" that's now "natural" for me. Anyhow, honey, your disaster had a huge silver lining - you were beautiful before, but you look FABULOUS with your new style and enhanced DARK color.
Wow, the end result was so good! I agree dark hair is great on her and the short cut was modern and fun! Very flattering! She really learned a hard lesson. I'm glad she didn't go bald. Yes, it's "just hair" but it also can become part of our identity, gives us a way to express our style, and can also provide like a "shield" to the world. I know sometimes I hide behind my long hair. If it were above my chin I would feel so exposed. There are a lot of psychological aspects tied to our hair that we don't always acknowledge.
I love how so many people really think our job is THAT easy. They watch these videos on Instagram of experienced stylists using platinum cards and applying full foils using razor thin sections to achieve high lift and do these types of things expecting the same result. I don’t get it.
I have shaved my hair off, bleached it 5 times in 3 weeks lol, dyed it blue, then red, then black cherry… all in 3 weeks. I’m 30 and I’ve done a lot with my hair and luckily never had any issues. I’ve had all good experiences doing my hair on my own. Next time I do my hair, I’ll send it to you! 😊
I'm 30 too, pretty much treated my hair the same all through my 20's until 2 years ago. I wound up with the deaded noodle hair and have spent that time since growing my virgin hair back out. I wish people would just be happy with their natural hair. Blond is not for everyone.
I have a question, why does
Sweet -n-low stop hair dye from burning your head? It work for me with box dyes. I go from dark brown to a medium blonde with a box dye ( I get compliments) and sweet-n-low stops my sensitive scalp from burning, why?
When I feel the urge to mess with my hair I just buy myself a new wig.
That is a very good idea
Me too !!!
Very sensible and with a better result than you'd get from dye
But by experimenting ,you learn and you don't have to depend on hairdressers anymore. Just do some research first.

Thanks to you and the tips you give, the way you explain everything, I stop damaging my hair to try to be blond 😊 Thank you so much!!! My hair is becoming more healthy and I love it!! THANK YOU!! 💜 👋🏻 From Argentina 🇦🇷
I only found your channel recently and I've been binging on your videos. I haven't been to a hairdresser in about ten years since one advised me to cut my own hair 😂 I was tired of it being cut like straight hair and ending up much shorter than I asked for.
Omg the crying annoyed me so much!! What did u expect!!!!??? Dark bob looked gorgeous at the end
She's so beautiful, regardless
Oh no, she's so beautiful it is HURTING me to see her cry. LADY NOOOOOOOO
I fried my hair by overbleaching to the point it all broke off. Thank goodness for my amazing hairstylist who was able to save a lot of it. It has taken me 18 months of professional appointments and a lot of $$$ to get it back to healthy. I definitely learned my lesson.
I have got dreads for 20 years. Sometimes I would like to have beautiful hair but I don't. So i am happy with my dreads. Love you hair Buddha
