I only ever tried home-bleaching once, in college. I bought a box of Manic Panic bleach and proceeded to...well, let's just say that when I went to get it corrected the stylist kept repeating, "how did you *do* that?" and called her colleagues over to marvel at my home botch job. 5 hours and $300 dollars later, I looked- well, not great honestly, because it turns out I CANNOT pull off blonde in the first place. You live, you learn. At least I didn't go bald!
I think a lot of people don’t realise that when you get a wig that isn’t custom made or very high end you will probably need to do some things to it before it looks natural - if that’s what you’re going for. Especially if the hairline or part are visible. There are loads of good tutorials online about how to make them look more natural. (Watch a bunch of different ones before you do anything though.) Go slowly with your own wig and keep checking it against your own natural hairline! If you’re going for an obvious fashion look you can probably just slap that thing on and hit the town. I’ve done both and loved both 👍
I have also used your technique when bleaching my hair correctly. I have used the products that you preferred and my hair is actually healthy, rested and striking. I appreciate your guidance and sincerely only abide by your personal recommendations and tuitions.
So I’ve been thinking of dyeing my hair ginger but I’ve bleached it twice over the past few years and there’s blue underneath somewhere. You’ve convinced me to stick with brown for a while 😅 don’t want to damage it anymore. It also took me SO many dyes to cover the blue. It surprisingly doesn’t look so bad right now.
She had beautiful dark hair that looked great with her skin. This new look is not flattering with her skin tone. I believe she is trying to convince herself it looks good.

It might make you happy that I am watching your videos and thanks to that I know that I am going to use 20 volume developer and have enough product and I finally know much, much better what the fine sections are and also how to divide my hair before sectioning. Hey Hair Buddah! I think I found a bleaching hack to avoid getting hot roots. So if you have a client with dark hair e.g. level 3 or doing your own hair at home. After you bleach the lengths to the level you want. Instead of using a concentrated 20v developer + lightning cream for the roots & regrowth . You can do instead a Bleach bath using just a 10v developer- (dark hair) or 5/6v- (lighter hair) on the roots and on the regrowth {If the regrowth isn't too long}. This trick works best on the roots. Because the diluted formula with low volume will not lift the hair too much compared to a 20v. Plus you'll have the heat from the scalp that will lighten 10v on the roots fast. It won't give you hot roots. And also it give you a natural looking transition between virgin hair and processed hair. Which prevents you from getting severe banding like using straight bleach. This technique also helps you to avoid getting breakage by accidentally overlapping (because it's diluted by the bleach bath). This technique is also less irritating for the scalp unlike concentrated bleach. I've tried it and it works (so it's a good way to maintain blonde hair). The only maybe exception I would say here is for people with gray roots. Let me know what you think!
My hair is long and uses two mask at a time. Every four to five days I put mask on and wait one to 12 hours..lol.. my hair has only had shampoo twice in about ten weeks.. the mask work very well, I use all the brands.. two of the same at a time. I can't see any difference in how they work.. but my hair is looking and feeling sooooo much better!
Hello hair Budda from Scotland 🏴 uk. Your amazing and so glad I got your channel . During being ill with depression and anxiety. Your a breath ove fresh air and very very funny . 😅😅
I have learned a lot and I realize that perdo crazy stuff! I would never bleach my hear at home. I color my roots but as my hairdresser has taught me and with professional products he was using on my hair. Bigger changes are for professionals only. (Well, I had a hairdresser that managed to destroy my hair but that another story…let’s say one has to choose the right hairdresser). It would be actually interesting to know more about products and what is considered a good mask. Is something as expensive as K18 worth the money or is it a rip off for example?
My natural hair color is similar to hers and when I tried an at home lightener I got pretty much the same color as her reddish orange fortunately it looked decent enough it ended up growing on me and I liked the color.
Nice but you could use a lightener not just bleach rounds Eg Clairol platinum blonde it up , I believe, or the other colour same brand bronde ( also iridiscent pearl or similar)leave in 20 only I think the peroxides 30 vol.and wash out oils & masks well before with a conditioner but guess it's too late😮 😮😮😮if you cut it or do it again in a year ie but you do need a couple bleaches 1st of 20 vol 😅. tone with a nice olia blonde which is very low developer permanent conditioning no ammonia🎉good luck 🎉
"These are wigs" 😂 finally somebody who is brave enough to tell them the truth😂! (I mean I should keep my big mouth shut, 'cause my hair is also platinum blonde - and it's NOT a wig☝🏼)
Aphogee is an amazing brand i recommended part 1 and 2...part 1 is like a gross texture like white part of egg but then when u do part 2 which is conditioner/mask it really helps with damage and dry hair this after bleaching hair
By the way, the mask for bleach damaged hair is Bleach London Reincarnation Mask. It's amazing, put tons on and leave it as long as possible. Washing off with cold water helps by closing the hair cuticles.
I was just thinking that, everyone wants Game of Thrones hair but even that lady doesn't have that hair cause it's just a wig! Hahaha glad you said it 😂
After watching this I'm relieved that I like my natural hair colour. I'm lucky to have natural highlights too. I will not ever bleach my long medium blond hair.
I'm so scared of bleach (especially at home bleach) and here she is doing it 4 times!! Ahhhh!!! She's so lucky her hair came out a decent color and didn't break off everywhere. Or maybe that's just my biggest fear from it lol.
Its exhausting doing your own hair. I prefer the salon. And Beauty colleges can really have some wonderful talent. They're also more affordable than doing it yourself.. Products are expensive and you always need more than one box.
Also, as dark as my hair is, I learned my lesson with 40 volume. Which is why any time I see people using it, I wanna smack it out of their hands bc if I don't need it to get my black hair white, they certainly don't 😅
I can feel Hair Buddha's grimace when he saw the 40 volume, and I wonder if it was coffee in his mug everytime he took a sip. 😂 A fabulous drinking game everytime they make a mistake.
While watching your videos I have learned if bleaching hair - fine, very fine sections, use multiple timers, blonde me + 20 developer, start at the back of the head/ bottom first, lengths only, preferable finish the back and bottom of hair first, rinse, then proceed to the other half, set TIMERS, HAVE A HELPER ASSIST, you'll be bleaching more than once, no coconut or any oils in hair prior to bleaching because it blocks the penetration, once lengths are at the preferred level THEN do the roots separately, Wella isn't the ONLY toner out there, purple shampoo and conditioner doesn't save or tone much of anything, golden blonde is beautiful, if using aluminum foil, don't scrunch! Fold, make a lip at the top to catch the swelling, saturate hair entirely with bleach - like a lot do not be skimpy as this is to ensure even lifting. Performing strand tests are very beneficial. There's a lot more I have learned as well, and I thank you very much Hair Buddha, I am still not confident in doing this at home- I'm not a hair dresser nor do I possess any wisdom from experience only knowledge from videos online. Also, never perform anything at all on your hair if your mental health isn't in the greatest shape. Have a great day!
Great video, but I started having issues with the audio and video being misaligned around the 10:32 minute mark. I’m watching this video on the TH-cam app on iOS.
Love the idea rach had about you using a mannequin head. But I think you should do all the wrong stuff like put on coconut oil, quick blue 40 volume and then use t18. And then purple shampoo lol
Used to do this, in the 90s. Got the box kind,. My hair is very strong, so it never broke, and i always used conditioner. 🤪😊 But it would be orange sometimes 🤣🤣
I am worried about you. You looks so tired..i really love your channel. I learn so much with you. Love you from Quebec.🥰🥰🥰🥰.. I dont understand she had beautiful hair before she bleach all.

I love hair buddha
I would love to see your reaction to a worst hairstyles compilation. Some of them are very funny.
I love the fact that you say what the point is. Like not pretending that it is ok
Have you checked your editing towards the end of the video? Lol 😂
My natural hair color is similar to hers and when I tried an at home lightener I got pretty much the same color as her reddish orange fortunately it looked decent enough it ended up growing on me and I liked the color.
Happy Monday
I wish my sister would listen lol she thinks that purple shampoo/conditioner are toners and they really aren’t 😅
The actor who plays the Sea Snake is bald in real life.
That Marshall stack is old school hard core.
Hahaha glad you said it 😂
Hair Buddha you're psychic! How do you know what they're going to say before they say it?! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Also, why do people never buy enough product? 🤔
Your expressions are priceless.
I'm excited
HB : I'm NOT!
😂😂😂😂
I love your videos and your cup
After watching this I'm relieved that I like my natural hair colour. I'm lucky to have natural highlights too. I will not ever bleach my long medium blond hair.
To be fair, my natural color is Dark Ash Blonde and it can have a greenish tint to it in certain lights. I do think the cooler tone suits her.
I heard "... I toned it with..." and I was like "let me guess T18???" 🤣🤣🙉 But no... it was not T18... I'm shocked 😜
I'm so scared of bleach (especially at home bleach) and here she is doing it 4 times!! Ahhhh!!! She's so lucky her hair came out a decent color and didn't break off everywhere. Or maybe that's just my biggest fear from it lol.
"Those are wigs" 🤣
Its exhausting doing your own hair. I prefer the salon. And Beauty colleges can really have some wonderful talent. They're also more affordable than doing it yourself.. Products are expensive and you always need more than one box.
Boxed dye black going to the got hair haha 😂. I hoped for the quick blue is quick death quote.
I wish GOT had been around when I was growing up,I wouldn't have been bullied as much for my natural white blonde hair
I watch these and comment out loud and swear you can hear me because you repeat what I just said 😆😉
Also, as dark as my hair is, I learned my lesson with 40 volume. Which is why any time I see people using it, I wanna smack it out of their hands bc if I don't need it to get my black hair white, they certainly don't 😅
😲 40! YIKES!
@Melissa Byrd LOL yeah that's why I don't use it anymore. I use no more than 30
Like this video amazing work stay connected 😊👍
I like teh colour she ended up with, very nice 😊
I get so excited when you ❤️ my comments
at last new film ❤ tnx
In the original time machine movie they all had white hair too. Wigs!
A mask I love is called Equilibrium by De Lorenzo ❤
I can feel Hair Buddha's grimace when he saw the 40 volume, and I wonder if it was coffee in his mug everytime he took a sip. 😂 A fabulous drinking game everytime they make a mistake.
Are you trying to kill him?! 😅
I love Bumble and Bumble
Is this a merch plug I see? 😏
Very nicely done. 👌
Me too
So glad it wasn’t just me. I thought my phone was bugging out 😅
Love the idea rach had about you using a mannequin head. But I think you should do all the wrong stuff like put on coconut oil, quick blue 40 volume and then use t18. And then purple shampoo lol
Used to do this, in the 90s. Got the box kind,. My hair is very strong, so it never broke, and i always used conditioner. 🤪😊 But it would be orange sometimes 🤣🤣
omg, her hair colour turned just like the colour of your beard!
I am worried about you. You looks so tired..i really love your channel. I learn so much with you. Love you from Quebec.🥰🥰🥰🥰..
I dont understand she had beautiful hair before she bleach all.
