It doesn't matter which character you use, but you need the right weapon for this mission. Shotgun works, but railgun works even better. On my 1st try using the railgun, I got 3 stars with 60+ shots remaining.

I also use skull but I use M4A1-Z as a gun, and I get both from event, skull from special ops and M4A1-Z from zombie revenge 2 .
