Some of these games only have the first episodes for free and not the whole game, so you can download it, acquiring ownership, then purchase the DLC BEFORE JULY 29th (If the game isn’t on Xbox One etc.)
Also, this video was also primarily aimed specifically for Xbox 360 players tryna get free games on their Xbox 360, and dont necessarily have future gen consoles 💯✨
Telltale games and Revelations 2 aren't really free games if you have to pay for the rest of the game imo
It’s not worth the time and disc space to download the Telltale free chapters, you can easily acquire the full games on physical discs which are dirty cheap and are available in many platforms.
You need to purchase the DLC for Crimson Alliance to actually enjoy it, it’s technically pay to win, you pretty much get a disguised demo.

Eh I preferred the Original Xbox. But 360 honestly was a huge leap. Seems more people bought it than OG for some reason.

1 vs 100 was a Blockbuster, the fact you can win Arcade Games was decent
I did an RGH to an old Falcon V2 console a year or so ago and I love it for the fact i can play the japanese region locked exclusive games that i missed out on like Otomedius Gorgeous and other shmup style games like Dodonpachi Saidaioujou

For a fun fact about Aegis Wing, the majority of the game was developed by a group of summer interns in just 3 months, with Microsoft handing it off to one of their studios after for some final polishing. It was one of the first indie games on Xbox live arcade

They should honestly just do what Sony did, keep the store up. But on life support. Meaning; on the PS3 you can still buy and download games but in order to add money you need to go on your PS4/5, or your phone, or even your computer to add funds to then buy games on PS3. There are also still tons of games online on PS3 too.
The way they did this, all games on PS3 are technically free. Because when you add funds to your account, you've already paid Sony. So the money on PS3 is literally just worthless credit to unlock access to a game or DLC.
This is the route Xbox should take, instead of just shutting the entire thing down.
Wolf among us and RE Resident Evil 2 is free for the first episode, for the rest of the episodes 2, 3, 4 you have to pay. Just to clarify

these that are playable on Xbox One, should also be able to be played on the Xbox X, Series S and X
So these games can be carried over on all in case you claim and come back to them later

I got a list accumulating $300 now. DLC, avatar items, themes and arcade games. Microsoft needs to have a sale so l can buy it now. Wish they had a cart like in the newer consoles so l can buy it in one go, instead of individually buying it.
Most of those games have always been free. Remember that The Walking dead and the wolf among us and redident evil revelations 2 are episode based!? Unless that they are giving the whole episodes out then that's awesome.

Crackdown has to be my all time favourite game on 360. Trying to find every orb. Then you relise, you got to get enough kills, to upgrade your skills. So you can jump high enough. So addictive and fun. Pinnacle game, in xbox 360 era. Subbed.
All of the games mentioned in the video are not affected at all, except Crimson Alliance. They are all backwards compatible and remain available in the store on Xbox Series and /or on disc. The full list of digital-only Xbox 360 games set to disappear on July can you read on videogameschronicle for example. And there are almost no really interesting games left. All good digital-only games remain available on the Xbox Series, for example Quake Arena, Hydro Thunder Hurricane, Trials HD, Call Of Juarez: Gunslinger, Rayman 3 HD, Sonic Adventure 1+2. But some really good digital-only games that I thankfully bought back then were already removed from the store last year, such as OutRun Online Arcade, Trials Evolution, Daytona USA, After Burner, The Simpsons Arcade Game, Sega Rally Online Arcade... You can't buy them all anymore. And I still enjoy playing them. These are such great games. But no one can buy them anymore. That's such a pity.
Most of these games are backwards compatible so they’re on the Xbox One/Series stores so they will still be available after the 360 store closes.
Guys remember, FH2 is free to claim with an Algerian account then transfer to ur main. You can just make a new acc with the region set as Algeria. Don’t miss out!

I sort of did. Some 360 stuff i never got too i got on my one. But some games like indie arcades I just like to play xD
I just pulled my 360 out of storage to download these. As soon as i hit download they were showing on my Xbox series X to download to my series X. So I'll be playing these on my series X 😁
So I just bought a used Xbox 360 E 500gb for like 80 bucks complete with kinect and controllers, even comes with Sims 3 in the disc tray. In my country buying this consoles is so expensive so this is my first ever console. Thanks for the recommendations even though Xbox online is kinda shit to use I will definitely try out this games before it shuts down.
360 was my young teens into my adult life, really bums me out to see it go. Just bought a 360 yesterday just so I could redownload all my old games (especially the indie games) Man the peak 360 days with Xbox live arcade, and the Xbox indie games for 99 cents was such an amazing time in gaming.
Don't forget too there are some OG Xbox backwards compatibile games you can buy on 360 that aren't available on current gen

Should consider doing a part 2 covering DLCs for games to get before it goes down (both purchasable & free!) considering many physical games don't have DLC codes (and if they do prolly expired or used)

Telltale games like the wolf among us typically only give you the 1st episode for free, then offer the rest of the game as a dlc

The Walking Dead Telltale game isn’t based on the TV series, it’s based on the OG source material: the comics.
And not only based on the comics, but set in the same universe
I wildly have played most of these. They are solid. A shouout to have BFME2 and Driver Parallel Lines, on their hard drive still. Legends.
I believe Kings Quest is also free, similar to how Walking dead and Wolf among us it's only the first chapter. But still free.
This is why I am into only buying physical games now. I hope eventually this changes.

If you get an error on Too human that says that its not in your country, just get it on the xbox one, and then redownload it on the 360

Haven't playe Aeigis Wing in forever! Nostalgia and melancholy in the same vid. Also for anyone. Most don't anymore, but if you have the blades theme on your 360 don't uodate it. Apparently it's a highly sought after front end in thr community. Least was couple years ago.

In regards to the 3 region locked games, you dont need to make a new account just got to the games store page from there respective region and just log in to xbox
I've tried it to get some demos of region locked games here in germany. And it does not work anymore.

@@mr.curtis6730 Strange that it works with them. I used to buy all the games like you say. I simply changed the region to USA. So I was able to buy games that aren't available in Germany, e.g. Manhunt and Dead Rising, etc... Now that suddenly doesn't work anymore. The games don't appear at all in the US store. Microsoft has changed something. They can now see the IP.
Most of these you can play on Xbox One, also The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, and Resident Evil Revelations 2 are episodic so only the first episode of each game is free
Could you maybe make a video on games that you can only get digitally and not available on Disc so games that will never be available again when market place goes down

Back in the day I had all the crash course dlc.. not sure it shows up on the newer consoles. It seemed like it was missing. I might just have to do the transfer thing to unlock it all again. No idea here.

I have about $90-$100 360 wishlist so once those are done I'm focusing on getting song DLC for Rock Band since they're $1.99 a piece although some or most songs are in Albums need to be purchased than packs which will be difficult to get but i will try to get them
i may have missed out most of the Guitar Hero era but i will not miss out on the 360 side of Rock Band since there's Rock Band 4

If you are a fan of the Resident Evil series, all the games for the 360 are all on sale now. I bought RE 0, 1, 4, 5, 6, and Revelations 1. Though the extra episodes for Revelations 2 are still full price but there is a bundle for all the episodes.
Also RE Revelations 2 has a game mode called Raid which is free

Great video dude. Didnt realise that it was RE Revalations 2 full game for free, thought it was just episode one, must have a look. Also an easier way to get the likes of Ikaruga on your account if you have a Series X/S, just change your region to Argentina in the settings menu & restart the console. Change it back to home country after nabbing said games, only good for 360 games with back compatability obvs.

Xbox should do a massive flash sale before closing the store & really advertise it too, no sneaky sales that you have to trawl through menus to get to, have it front & centre on the store page.

I always thought the Xbox 360 marketplace died along time ago , because I was browsing and it said Xbox live no longer supports Xbox360 games so I called my friend about it and he said if you have a newer Xbox one /s/x than you can still get the Xbox 360 games but not sure for how long so I’m just confused because my xbox360 market place is not working and I have 3 xbox360 none of them work on the marketplace so I’m just like hmm must be for the newer Xbox one/s/x
It sucks knowing they're getting rid of the store. I just got my very first Xbox 360 console a few days ago, as an adult it sucks. There's so much nostalgia from playing alot of these games on my friends systems. I could never afford them myself. And can't even afford most of the games I want before the store closes. I mean I'm thankful I can still purchase the physical copies after it closes but they're not cheap either and so hard to find
Some of these games like the telltale games and RE revelations are just free to download and you get to play like an hour and the rest of the game is like buy the next game episode or whatever

Yes, if you are able to buy the digital item in the one/series x then it will not go away in the when 360 stores shut down. You will be able to also transfer those games you bought from the new consoles to your 360 through digital download history after the 360 store close down.

I didn't need to make an email address/profile from another country, I just switched my location in the Series X settings, restarted console, searched for the game available in that country. Bingo, got the game for free. The Korean one didn't ask for any id, just let me download the game and play it 👍🏼

Most of these games say unavailable or not for sale even though I own crimson alliance I can't find it in store but under my owned games it's there but won't download. Do I need a Xbox 360?
Not sure how to go about switching the region on an Xbox One, but for 360, make a new account with Canada or USA region, and try searching them again

Hey, you sound like Paulie Shore. I'm surprised Too Human is available, since that's the game Silicon Knights that caused a lawsuit with Epic over licensing issue with Unreal Engine. The judge ruled for Epic and ordered the recall and destruction of all copies, as well as making Silicon Knights pay Epic Games. This caused Silicon Knights to close.
Microsoft owns Too Human. The game can't legally be sold, but Epic gave permission to Microsoft to offer the game for free.
