On Mi TV (Android TV OS) there's a button to switch to TV mode, no additional steps. On Samsung TV (Tizen OS) some TVs have a casting option to cast anything. I have both so I know:)

Well my experience is smart hub as my Sony Bravia Android tv hasn’t got Nowtv app yet and the Samsung has, my tv is only 2 years old so I won’t be changing anytime soon so I may do with my Sony Bravia Android I use my nowtv app on my iPad 7th generation
Samsung has Smartview that also allows to see your phone on TV

Yes Smart TVs have internal storage. All apps are installed on it. You can see how much storage you have in the TV Settings

You're wrong on casting. Samsung had this option supported long time. My TV is from 2018 and can mirror both OS, iOS and AND.
Android tv is better than basic smart tv. Because android tv you can install apps what ever u want. Especially Vpn apps☺️ you can switch Us based netflix or other region..

Did you know you can reset or reinstall the apps on the samsung tv? Maybe the app worked good them you didnt have to reset the smart hub.

Full home screens are better than quarter like tizen or Web os tizen or Web os is only good if u watch sky or the shit that the BBC ITV etc do pump out if u only watch app based TV like utube prime Netflix etc then android (Google TV) is the best

I bought an android tv and I work good enough, never have big issues. I friend of mine bought a Samsun tv and I help her to set it up, I was not able to download new app and up to this day she is not able to do it, she complain how unhappy she is with her tv because of this issue

Android TV home screen is a lot better than tizen with sumsung and LG they fools that made the operating system thinks that Wats on TV is priority now TV such as sky and BBC is absolutely shit so u don't know what you are talking about the best thing about Samsung TV's is the remote control and that's it
