That's a little overkill, the soils soaked n easy they have some simpler walk along Ditch Witch, this thing has to cost a lot to rent.........I do want one though :)

that bitch is bad, makes trench digging as easy as it could ever need to be. I just wish they would burry their fuckin cables deeper. They only go like a foot and a half maybe 2 feet and i work for dish network so its very risky when we gotta dig especially when we have to put the dish on a metal pole. We first have to cement the pole in the ground usually digging down about a foot and a half hahaa so yea considering these guys get all the special equipment i think they should go down atleast 3 feet with phone and internet shit. Cable companies i wouldnt expect to do it and if i ever cut a coax cable as long as its rg6 i got the tools to fix it

What point would going deeper serve? There is no reason to go down any deeper when burying coax or fiber. It just adds to the cost of installation, and increases the difficulty in servicing. If your digging, it is your responsibility to call for a locate. If you hit a coax or fiber cable then it's your fault, not the fault of the cable guys. Pull your head out of your backside and do your damn job. By the way if your only going down 12 - 18 inches for the pole you're slacking.
