Thanks for sharing your thoughts and your own experiences with this 🙏🏼💜 One tip I found helpful for myself when considering adding a new deck to my collection is watching a walkthrough of the deck with the sound OFF. It helps to just let yourself take in the images without being influenced by the reviewer/unboxer. I can more easily discern my OWN feelings about the deck that way. (And I can go back later to listen to the reviewer’s thoughts if I want to.) That said, I’ve found that I continually go back to the the same few trusted decks for clear and accurate readings. I’m open to exploring new decks but really I don’t need anymore at this point. 💜

Fantastic points! I had to leave social media, especially IG, years ago because it made me feel so inferior to people who had all the pretty, witchy things. And then, I stopped buying things entirely about a year back when I realized, I have an oracle deck on my shelf I haven't opened yet. I told myself when I get around to using it, then I can go shopping again. But it's still in the wrapper, meanwhile I've been... going outside. 😂💜
I think that is amazing you were able to set boundaries. That you are connecting to nature. That is so powerful and magical. I am just wondering what unused oracle you are referring too lol.
