Hi Christina, Thank you for this very beautiful video. I moved to Ålesund from France a month and a half ago. It's just so gorgeous. The nature here is really striking. You have mountains with the Sunnmøre Alps, fjords, islands, and the sea. It is the perfect mix for adventure lovers. The city has everything you need: cafes, boutiques, a huge shopping center. You can go hiking as soon as you get off work. There are opportunities for everything: mountain sports, water sports, fishing, or just enjoying the gorgeous views we have. I'm glad you had a great time.

@@CristinaFilms: Thanks, end of May is more or less the same in Switzerland like in fjords of Norway I guess.. greenery, wild flowers, full force waterfalls as ice melts. Will definitely arrange our trip to Norway during that time period.

Hi Cristina. Just wanted to share something about Ålesund and Sukkertoppen, while rehabing in 2017 in Ålesund we were offered mountaintrips every day, ranging from easy like Sukkertoppen to advanced like Romsdalseggen(10hrs++) or Blåskjerdingen. We did Sukkertoppen when we were having a bad day or just didnt habe energy. On the way up about half way there is a three with about 50 marks on it from me marking it on the way down. Hit me up if you want any more hiking tips im Norway, been all over the country by now with the kids 😊 good video!
In Ålesund you should have had a portion of fish and chips, they are having the best fish and chips in the world. I think you have to visit Ålesund once more. 👍😉💖🌷🇳🇴

Hi Cristina, When you take the 3-4 hour day cruise, do you mean that you have to return with the cruise back to the city after 3-4 hours? What if I want to spend more time at Geiranger?

Then I have more time for activities at Geiranger. As for cruise experience, I believe I can either add it at Alesund, or some other places in Norway (I am still checking out). For now, my tentative itinerary: Day 1 : Oslo (probably no museum hopping, or just one as kids are not museum type) Day 2 : Oslo (Nature) - lake of Sognsvann/ viewpoint at Vettakollen Day 3 : Oslo -> Alesund by flight, rent a car Day 4 : Geiranger (don't take for granted a sunny day as per your advice, if sunny, go Geiranger!) Day 5 : Geiranger/ Alesund Day 6 : Alesund to Bergen (by flight) Day 7 : Bergen (Train to Flam?) Day 8 : Bergen -> leaving Norway The above is my current plan. This was a very good video. You have the 'video'-skills... You should instead have started the trip by train from Oslo to Åndalsnes and found your way to Ålesund from there. Then you would have had the opportunity to travel at Rauma-banen which is one of the more spectaular railway lines in Norway.

In my humble opinion, I think that the Norwegian flag is the world's most beautiful! Other beautiful national flags are: Great Britian, France (for its simplicity and the ability to stir emotions of the revolution), and my final 'pick' (which might surprise my fellow countrymen, being an Anglo-Canadian), is the Quebec provincial flag - the 'Fleur-de-Lis'. Anyways, just my opinion... (however, do expect some 'flak' this regard). Addition here: You had mentioned, in one if your replies to another viewer's query that you are originally from Romania. My maternal grandparents (Swabs) are from a small town outside of Timisoara, formerly called 'Beschcret' (?? spelling). They emigrated to Montreal in 1928. Small world!

In my humble opinion, I think that the Norwegian flag is the world's most beautiful!
Other beautiful national flags are: Great Britian, France (for its simplicity and the ability to stir emotions of the revolution), and my final 'pick' (which might surprise my fellow countrymen, being an Anglo-Canadian), is the Quebec provincial flag - the 'Fleur-de-Lis'.
Anyways, just my opinion... (however, do expect some 'flak' this regard).

You had mentioned, in one if your replies to another viewer's query that you are originally from Romania. My maternal grandparents (Swabs) are from a small town outside of Timisoara, formerly called 'Beschcret' (?? spelling). They emigrated to Montreal in 1928.

Its like 7 hours by car:) flying takes 1 hour and cost like 150$ from Oslo - Ålesund and Ålesund - Oslo so 75$ pr way

He did for first time a bigger cruise to see how the experience is, but he prefers the small ones like you did or so.. ..as an Iberian, i would not travel without a backpack of food..bread, presunto or chouriço, cheese, a cake slice..and beer! ..and some fruit..and coffee.. yeah..a back pack..lol

I never went to a cruise..ferry yes, but never cruise.. i convinced my brother to work in one for a while .. about the other part time youtuber from Norway, a collaboration video would be good, and he may live near you..many youtubers do..like, an "interview" to each other, like 20 or 30 minutes ..and the other does the same..experiences exchange..and content subject.. Think about it.. he shares you and channel as a creator, and you share him and his...
