If you’re serious about going back to school I would recommend signing up for spring semester and getting your core classes that are required for every major, then as you take classes it will help you figure out what you are truly passionate about studying. 💙
Zoology yes!! I'm a zoologist, once I started I never looked back. Definitely not a career that will make you a lot of money, but that's also what makes this field so special. Everyone in it is here because they are passionate and want to make a difference. I get to spend everyday out in the forest collecting data to protect wildlife and I couldn't ask for anything better! Hey Jaz, I was like you and wanting to study wildlife in their habitat but I didn't know the degree to get to do that and ended up going for environmental science. I'm graduated now and I work in the environmental industry and I think you should look into a wildlife management or wildlife biology degree instead of zoology (based on what you're saying you're interested in). Consulting companies are a great avenue (that also pays pretty well) if you don't want to work for the government. Hope that was helpful!
As a fellow PR, as soon as you said political science I thought of AOC. Do what you love! Also, even if zoology doesn’t pay much, if it makes you feel like you’re doing what you’re being called to do in this lifetime you might be able to juggle that with your current brand in some way?
