He has +50 character races(10 teiflings for each devil descendent), super lore intensive world, set stat blocks players can choose for different builds, gives players campaign options/back ground options that fit the player, AND has an amazing energy to him. I’m so excited for this campaign!
I liked Koibu, but this DM just seems more like someone playing DnD with a group of friends rather than doing it as a job. He’s not too restrictive, excited about what the players chose as their character and story. Overall a good DM.
Feur gott There wasn’t a controversy or anything, they just found that there light and funny style didn’t mix with Koibu’s darker, grittier and realistic style. As was said Arcadum is much more yielding from a good video content perspective

@@AntiSora2 That is fair. I didnt mean to have a negative connotation to it, it just genuinely surprised me because of the 15-20 DMs I have had, they have always been very accommodating and always made the experience VERY unique. It could definitely be a case of first world RPG problems on my end.

I had a read through his world on world anivil and it sounds really cool but I think he should inform the players about a lot of this being homebrew material. There is a official version of the artificer but for some reason he feels like making his own? Not sure why he would do that.

Yeah, the fact that there are at least 4 groups playing alongside each other, That in itself is an achievement. Let alone the entire galaxy he has created, My world is rather small and often not really fleshed out yet, However of the 4 parties I have ran for, 3 of them have slowly merged together, As people quit and solo adventurers stumbled upon one of my other parties rather quickly. The other party I might introduce as a villain party for a holiday game one day, Because they took chaotic and rolled with it, Breaking 10 laws in their first session alone.

Role play games really aren't my type of game, but this looks really fun with close friends and stuff, like cracking jokes and stuff and helping eachother (side note: The game master is SO nice and supportive, its nice to see :)
Its definitely fun, just be careful that the dm of the group is more easy-going if you want it to be a fuckery game lol, some people might crack under the pressure

The man has 25 worlds that with so many character races I am terrified to even show him a few of my Homebrew half troll races, and so much lore that he doesn't so much "Improvise" as "find where in the BOOKS of Lore this will fit in". Seriously, he needs to release his worlds in either E-book or print, I would buy a world or two from him.
I think it's already hilarious that Lily has the most metal character in the game Edit: Also, Mykull has clearly failed to die a hero and has lived long enough to see himself become the villain.
Props to this DM and all DM's out there who are willing and patient to work with noobs! From personal experience having someone like this makes playing DnD so fun, without the pressure of doing things "right" or "wrong" :DD looking forward to more of this!

I love seeing how intense Arcadum is with this game. You can tell how much he loves it and wants other people to enjoy the game. I think he's definitely going to help give the party some unique situations to build off of.

personally prefer the punching method but this one is great -Strength is how hard you can punch -Dexterity is how fast you can punch -Constitution is how many punches you can take -Intelligence is knowing how to punch -Wisdom is knowing where to punch -and Charisma is being able to convince the other guy to punch themselves

I only knew of Arcadum from an LNC stream and he seemed like a really cool dude. I don't know much about DnD myself, but him being a DM for so long and still being enthusiastic about new campaigns/characters plus getting everyone enticed is so refreshing. This seems like it will be a very enjoyable campaign for players and viewers!!!

ngl I didn't watch the last campaign because despite seeming chill Koibu just felt so restrictive and rules lawyering despite not actually understanding some of the rules, all the homebrew and passion this guy has for the game and the general vibe of no choice is a bad choice is super refreshing, definitely something that seems like I could watch it weekly.
Arcadum seems like such an amazing dm. So accomodating in the creation process. I would love to play a character from the badlands with the doomsayer curse who acts recklessly because of their own death curse.

I knew nothing of Arcadum before this but I like him already and I love his style. I have a friend who is starting a living world without being totally aware of it and I'm so here for it and I'm excited to play more with my friend and I would love to play with Arcadum. Contributing to the events of a world with a character I create to be interesting is one of my favorite concepts ever and if I ever DM, it will be like that, you'd better believe it. I started off being like all "I don't like that subrace, i don't like that origin ect... then I saw the insane map program and depth of story and have been humbled.
I love how much the DM loves this game! This has been the first time I've been able to get into a DND stream though I've tried a lot before. His enthusiasm is infectious.
Arcanum is such and epic dm but personally I find everything he presents overwhelming and a bit intimidating. Like I’ve played dnd for a few years and him just busting out the bunch of races and his own classes I just was scared yet impressed.

DUUUUUDE, THIS ENTIRE BEGINNING EPISODE GAVE ME CHILLS AND GOOSEBUMPS. THIS IS SO FUCKING COOL. Props to this dm man, fantastic job already. He is so good that his origins and classes almost brought me to tears and can't wait to see this campaign flourish.
As soon as they started talking about the Tortle race, I envisioned Michael's character trying to commit genocide against them, leading to his imprisonment in the Iron. Edit: Rae just looked overwhelmed 24/7 it was hilarious!
It's really interesting to rewatch this session 0, especially after what we've already seen (currently 8 game sessions have been played). I think it's really fun to see what could have been, and how the original characters evolved into what they are now.
I’m glad OTV and friends played this game even though they had to end season two early. This was what introduced me to Arcadum and what he does. I was following their DnD games and when they started to play with Arcadum I was really impressed with the storytelling. I’m glad I was here when it started to take off. I would wait for every Sunday and suffer during every missed week of games. I loved Broken Bonds and I’m glad it happened.
Even though I enjoyed the Outpost Santa Barbara games, Broken Bonds blew me away. Even though I didn’t leave any comments when I was following the games, I am glad that I was there to witness it when it happened.

Props to this DM and all DM's out there who are willing and patient to work with noobs! From personal experience having someone like this makes playing DnD so fun, without the pressure of doing things "right" or "wrong" :DD looking forward to more of this!

I love seeing how intense Arcadum is with this game. You can tell how much he loves it and wants other people to enjoy the game. I think he's definitely going to help give the party some unique situations to build off of.

personally prefer the punching method but this one is great
-Strength is how hard you can punch
-Dexterity is how fast you can punch
-Constitution is how many punches you can take
-Intelligence is knowing how to punch
-Wisdom is knowing where to punch
-and Charisma is being able to convince the other guy to punch themselves

The only problem with that one is that punching is something you can actually do in dnd, and the stats don't apply to it like that.

You can’t really understand because most dms create their own worlds. If you ever play just ask the dm to explain anything you need and they should do it

I only knew of Arcadum from an LNC stream and he seemed like a really cool dude. I don't know much about DnD myself, but him being a DM for so long and still being enthusiastic about new campaigns/characters plus getting everyone enticed is so refreshing. This seems like it will be a very enjoyable campaign for players and viewers!!!

ngl I didn't watch the last campaign because despite seeming chill Koibu just felt so restrictive and rules lawyering despite not actually understanding some of the rules, all the homebrew and passion this guy has for the game and the general vibe of no choice is a bad choice is super refreshing, definitely something that seems like I could watch it weekly.

I love the doodles that Lily did once she nailed down her character concept, and how the weapons kept on getting bigger and bigger each time.
I knew nothing of Arcadum before this but I like him already and I love his style. I have a friend who is starting a living world without being totally aware of it and I'm so here for it and I'm excited to play more with my friend and I would love to play with Arcadum. Contributing to the events of a world with a character I create to be interesting is one of my favorite concepts ever and if I ever DM, it will be like that, you'd better believe it.

I love how much the DM loves this game! This has been the first time I've been able to get into a DND stream though I've tried a lot before. His enthusiasm is infectious.

Arcanum is such and epic dm but personally I find everything he presents overwhelming and a bit intimidating. Like I’ve played dnd for a few years and him just busting out the bunch of races and his own classes I just was scared yet impressed.

DUUUUUDE, THIS ENTIRE BEGINNING EPISODE GAVE ME CHILLS AND GOOSEBUMPS. THIS IS SO FUCKING COOL. Props to this dm man, fantastic job already. He is so good that his origins and classes almost brought me to tears and can't wait to see this campaign flourish.
As soon as they started talking about the Tortle race, I envisioned Michael's character trying to commit genocide against them, leading to his imprisonment in the Iron.

It's really interesting to rewatch this session 0, especially after what we've already seen (currently 8 game sessions have been played). I think it's really fun to see what could have been, and how the original characters evolved into what they are now.

I’m glad OTV and friends played this game even though they had to end season two early. This was what introduced me to Arcadum and what he does. I was following their DnD games and when they started to play with Arcadum I was really impressed with the storytelling. I’m glad I was here when it started to take off. I would wait for every Sunday and suffer during every missed week of games. I loved Broken Bonds and I’m glad it happened.
Even though I enjoyed the Outpost Santa Barbara games, Broken Bonds blew me away. Even though I didn’t leave any comments when I was following the games, I am glad that I was there to witness it when it happened.
