Also the entire map is quite well done, i like how the northen side, the one with the Thomas Jefferson Memorial monument, actually is directly connect to other missions, it is consistent. Well done, i'll follow your efforts.
What's this? Washington D.C. under Soviet occupation... but the entire city is still mostly intact, including the Pentagon? I guess the Soviet commander in this timeline must've been speedrunning his mission, otherwise he would have taken the time to erase at least 70% of the civilian structures on the map. Judging by how this mission played out, the first few missions will probably be focused on low tier units, forcing you to deal with large, coordinated enemy hordes without giving you stuff like SEALs or Prism Towers. They might even have you fight a complete counter to said low tier units... if so, then I can see why people say these missions are hard. Still, there will likely be plenty of surprises along the way, so let's keep on going. Also, props to tg for not restarting the mission when he lost his initial base. It's often fun to see how things play out, even if you do mess up.

Rhino's are just the objectively better tank unless you spy, So honestly, i don't know why'd you'd wanna have enemy tech to begin with in any missions.
In case you have f*cked up. Sorting unit promotion will help a lot. If one is to be promoted would give you upper hand but if you make all attack it possible that elite unit will steal the kill which don't gave experience to unrank soldier. Solution is simple. Press Y will sort selected unit or entire screen if not select any promotion in the same rank. Press again will go another rank
welcome to flipped missons, remember to keep a EXTREMELY CLOSE EYE to the top-left for changes on objective, if you ever forget it you can always open up options which if i am not misremembering gives you the background and a general reminder of starting objectives, oh, and please, do NOT underestimate this AI, words cannot express that this AI is insanity, and not the good one, it able to produce unit from multiple structure *at the same time*, this AI is not made to give you a easy time, it made to give you pain, so DO NOT expect easy fight, it all a climbing and potentially restarting hell from here
Good to see you back with the campaign man. Imo the flipped missions overall isn't as hard as reworked allied but has way more interesting levels. Have fun and we'll enjoy the ride.
Just remember that in Flipped Mission, the Difficulty ramps up significantly but not as punishing as Mental Omega. Also the game has TOO MANY new things you need to anticipate, you'll like it TG.
It was a great run, warts and all. It is intersting, IMO, to see the natural reactions & behavior of a player when facing an unknown mission. A general tip that might help with the mod: (Hidden purposefully in the Read More) . . . . . . . . enemy buildings with passive abilities will still grant you access to those abilities when they are captured. Meaning -- power from Reactors, the Spy Plane from the Radar, etc.
Some micro-management advice: when deploying the GIs, only deploy the ones at the front so the ones in the back keep moving. You'll have to manually select the GIs with LMB-boxes. 11:30 Ares DLL adds that functionality.
So the building is actually technically disabled with producing units form it. Which is why that's the case, it's not a bug, it's a side effect of not being able to produce enemy tech, instead of just removing the tech the buildings are just there so they have a base to kill, they don't always produce from the buildings either some missions have scripts off map.
Has the mod author actually given a reason for disabling enemy tech? Like.. is there a technical reason? Or is it just 'well i don't like it so that's why'? I recently went through Flipped Missions and it was definitely the one thing that soured it for me.
I installed this mod and the pre-mission briefing seems to be missing as well as mu cursor in-game. I cannot select anything from the settings menu. Anyone else experiencing this or anything similar that has any idea how to fix it?

I loved the flipped missions, just hate one thing and that's inability to build units of the enemy faction >:( When I go through a mission I always capture some stuff along the way, so I can build off of it anyway, and production buildings still speed up build times
Ok, so this mod is Yuri's revenge but it's just the RA2 missions. So, i'll tell you this. You need to OWN the game, so check in your game files, if you have files like gamemd.exe and stuff then you are good, basically if you didn't buy the game you can't play this i don't think.

Yes, you can but you need to have bought the game, and the game folder needs to be completely clean without any other modded based files, Just make sure you don't have like the normal CNCNET or anything in it and it should work fine.

If after the installation the game doesn't run it could be for tons of reasons which I have no knowledge of. But as I said, it won't run if you have the cnc net launcher installed. Better install it on a fresh copy.

I recently upgraded to Win 10.
Set the combatibility to Win XP and Admin rights and it runs fine.
