If the story is good (good plot and great characters) I like a series, but sometimes some series are filled of unnecessary drama. But also i like standalones because sometimes a book has a complete story and a good final so I'm okay with it.

Have you read any Elle Kennedy? She sometimes writes hockey romances with Sabrina Bowen, but Kennedy's Briar U and Off-Campus series are some of my favorites.
I normally read stand alones in order but the Sea Breeze series by Abbi Glines is one that I’ve read a handful of and I’ve never read them in order! Thanks for all the recommendations!!
My favourite series of all time is Sterling shore and I would recommend reading the 5th book first it's called Breaking even and it is my favourite book. Almost all of them are enemies to lovers and they are hilarious. They can all be read as standalones.

I definitely prefer standalone series, where there’s one couple per book, and the series follows a group of characters. Speaking of Sarina Bowen, all of her series are amazing. You’ve only mentioned contemporary series, I love paranormal and historical romance series for the same reasons😊

TFS :) PS I've just seen earlier today that Alexa Martin has a fourth book in her Playbook series due in October called Snapped. It's about the first player on the team to take a knee so I'm sure will conjure up all sorts of discussion.

I have not read any romance books and I am looking into giving it a try. Anyways, I was wondering if you could make a video on sort of a beginners guide. I usually like reading or watching couples with maybe an age gap but not always, and also sort of like forbidden ones. Recently read the Mercury pack and the phoenix pack books series by Suzanne Wright. I did not follow the proper order but I really loved the stories.
