    This could be my 1st edc fixed blade. Very nice. Awesome video as always.

      VQMAN I hate that this knive is marked as an edc knive when it has a leather sheath.. an edc knive needs a kydex sheath in my opinion.

      Camora Kidd disagree completely I edc my guardian 3 everyday with leather sheath in the scout carry position. You could probably add loops to scout carry this knife easily.

    Really wanting a neck knife in m390, customs are real expensive. Do you think this handle is too thick for a neck knife? I also had the thought that I might take off the scales and wrap the handle in sports tape or something, I have having a huge knife imprint, although a little bit is fine.

      I think it would be manageable as a neck knife with the standard scales and with a wrap handle should be totally fine.

    Thank you Tyler.
    Can you check with your distributor for us please? In finding out, if the Lion Steel titanium Pearl lanyard bead, is available all by itself?
    I have a Lion Steel knife now, that I would love to have one of these on it. Plus. What if we bought a new 2108 M1 for example, and lost the bead. What would the process look like, to replace it? I have to hope, that some of these beads are being stocked here in the U.S.

      Lion Steel is selling the Ti Pearl lanyard bead as a standalone accessory. It can be purchased directly through Lion Steel's website. www.lionsteel.it/n/en/product/1820/tip

      Thank you Tyler.
      Yes, I did see that earlier. I should have been more clear, and detailed in my question.
      Lion Steel, appears to be shipping those from either a Dealer in Barry, England. Or, from the factory store, in Maniago, Italy.
      After having found out that information earlier. I came here, to ask you. Are any of these stocking in the U.S.?
      And again. If we bought the M1 from you, here in the U.S., and soon lost our bead. Then wanted to buy a replacement. What would that process look like?
      I understand, that one could be shipped from Barry England, or Maniago, Italy, and the time that would take. For $36.65 usd, plus shipping. Ouch!
      : - )
      But, can you check for us please? If your U.S. Lion Steel Knife distributor, has any single units on hand, to be sold.
      I understand, that it will likely be Tuesday, before you can get an answer.

    Hard to do better than this for a very sturdy EDC fixed blade. You can press this into any role, and will such a small blade, I wouldn't worry about it being less tough steel.

    Good job on the video Tyler think I'm going to stick to the M4 that in one doesn't look like it's going to give people like me a very good grip but I've done bought three m4 from y'all! God bless.

      The LionSteel M4 is a great fixed blade, in many ways just a large M1, but is probably a bit large for most people to EDC. Appreciate the support!

    Can this one strike a fire striker?

    • @Gpknives
      @Gpknives  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The spine is crowned. I would recommend a dedicated striker. Part of an old hacksaw blade works very well, and the hole end will keep it attached to your ferro rod or magnesium block lanyard.

    • @paulll47
      @paulll47 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Gpknives Thanks for the answer, yes my firestrike already has a dedicated strike but I'm paranoid and I like to be able to have multiple redundancies with my gear.

    • @shanerbass
      @shanerbass 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes, even tho the spine is crowned, Lionsteel put a burr on it that enables it to strike a ferro rod really well. You wouldn't think so, but throws great sparks

    • @paulll47

      @@shanerbass Thanks, I have the m4 and it can spark with no problems, I just didn't know if this could do it as well.

    do you think the m1 is too thick for its length?

    • @Gpknives
      @Gpknives  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think the thickness is reasonable for the blade length. The full flat grind offers good slicing performance for a utility fixed blade. It wouldn't making a good kitchen knife but that isn't what it was designed for.

    • @yuehtungpan5555

      GPKNIVES thanks for the information! I am now having trouble choosing between benmade 940-1 and lion steel m1 as a combo to my syderco pm2(s110v), which one do you recommend?

    • @Gpknives
      @Gpknives  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends on your need but either would be a solid choice for carry. If you are already carrying a high performance folder (PM2 S110V) then I would probably opt for the fixed blade M1.

    If I got the g10 version, could I get lionsteel wood handles and install later?

    • @Gpknives
      @Gpknives  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      To my knowledge they do not sell the wood handles separately. If you can source them they should be a direct exchange.
