- Come join me on my journey to get an AliExpress rear vent unit to fit my VW Passat B8 GTE.
The original mission was to fix the left air flapper control by using a "drop in" replacement unit, however, it did not just drop in!

Cheers, good question, I can't recall why I didn't just change the deflection flapper bit only, I would imagine that on initial inspection it was not straight forward or possible due to parts not being the same or non removable so based on that I though it would be easier to swap entire unit!

My back vents in my Passat B8 are only blowing cold air even on HI how can i solve it?
Did you solve that? I have the same problem
@@nICkkkkkos no i couldn’t but i learned that it was chronically problematic in B8s, the AC motors should be replaced with new ones. Front ones are problematic too, let you know
