@@madhavoc1 he had a totally legitimate reason for doing that. Holyfield cheated on on both fights. Headbutts are devastating, Tyson knows he can't win after being headbutted so he lost the first fight. Then the second fight holyfield did it again and Tyson told the ref but all the ref did was give him a warning again. Not even close! sugar Ray Leonard, Floyd Mayweather, Calzaghe, Roy Jones Jr. and many others were better boxers. Ali and Lewis were better boxers, but only one or two boxers rivaled iron Mikes power(big George Foreman in his prime had huge power). Quick combinations that looked like they were thrown to keep him upright and not fall over was the power of his punching. Watched him when I was younger and still return to TH-cam to watch him regularly. The absolute best ever.
Watching mike knock out opposition never gets old
The man be trying to fall and Mike trying to get in one more punch before he hit the canvas.

IRON-MIKE!!! Greatest fighter I’ve ever seen in my 55 years, I live in Vegas but unfortunately haven’t had the opportunity to meet him yet. Definitely #1 thing on my bucket list is to have a beer with Mike Tyson!! Hope it happens some day. Absolutely the greatest fighter to ever live!! 👍👍👍
4:57 That referee was allmost K.O.ed
Maybe like 13 inches close
I came here after the Logan Paul vs Mayweather fight to see some real boxing.
One of the things most don't bring up, was Mike's footwork. If you know anything about that, and watch, his feet are always in the position to use the most of those tree trunk thighs in hit hits. And also His boxing skills were on top as well. His defense was amazing. Bobbing, and weaving, you could barely hit the guy.
Yeeeeeés!!!
He's fighting these giants and he never has a scratch on him.
Yeah he throws from the ground. Not just from the hip.
Definitely. He looks like he's doing a squat / jumping jack into many of his punches. Whole body in pefect timing to channel every muscle through his fist.
Winding up like a spring, ready to transfer all that power from his solid frame... BOOM. Fuckin' steam rolled.
My favorite boxer of all time! His Ferocity in the ring was unparalleled in my opinion!
Nice job on the video restoration! Great footage, looking better than ever before.
Fight Mike Tyson in his prime or Fight The Kraken?

Rico Verhoeven.

The speed and Energy. My god he raised hell on his opponents.

Men Going Their Own Way
MT was such a great boxer that he could only be defeated by himself. That’s exactly what happened. He could defeat his opponent with either fist, his punching power was phenomenal and those punching combos were lights out.
Not only throwing punches, he knew how to take them as well..... truly great
4:57 Underrated play by the ref.
Deadass
yeah haha, he went home and hugged his kids and wife for a week.
Yes top
"Mike, come on, you can't fight him. He's a giant."
"Hold my beer."
He's the best, he doesn't dance around like ali, he doesn't hold much and he fights. I really think he deserves his money and it's a shame what happened to him.
lol what’s happened to him. he’s thriving
The wierd thing about mike for me is !! When he bit holyfields ear out of rage ???? And YET You watch the vast majority of his fights and he is the first person to help the opponent up and see if he is ok ?? But besides that weird moment !! If Ever there was a human classed as a terminator ...Then this machine would be it !!!
@@madhavoc1 he had a totally legitimate reason for doing that. Holyfield cheated on on both fights. He knows cuz hes respected, hes able to get away with a couple of headbutts and won't get disqualify so he used it to his advantage. At the beginning of every fights he headbutts Tyson, and like he predicted, he only got a warning. Headbutts are devastating, Tyson knows he can't win after being headbutted so he lost the first fight. Then the second fight holyfield did it again and Tyson told the ref but all the ref did was give him a warning again. Then he headbutts him again and the ref gave him another warning so Tyson knows hes going to lose again and got so pissed and bit his ear off. Holyfield its a fkn cheater and a loser. I would've probably done something similar, probably take his nuts off

I saw every fight of him on tv in those years. I loved his fighting mentality, this guy had only one objective: no tactical boxing but destroying the opponent with all his force.
no tactical?LOL.have you ever heard pee ka boo
Tyson and Marciano had very similar styles, deadly in range and seemed to be impervious to counter punches. Amazing.
Cus d amato made peek-a-boo, with the mix of rocky marciano, joe frazier, and joe louis's style.

This is amazing review for Mike Tyson boxing career
This was HBO at its finest back in these days. HBO covered all the good fights and I remember all Tyson fights
Dude is 5’10 and a heavy weight. Literally a beast. Guy is literally such an amazing boxer. So fast and movements are perfected
Height doesn't mean nothin

Brilliant video. More please!
Beautiful, wonderfully made
Nothing but respect for Iron Mike. The prefight stare was like Mike looking into his opponent's soul. I'm sure he could see, feel and project their defeat before the match started. They should not have made eye contact with him.
I just imagine referees be like, “ay mike, mike ! Get tf away from him he ded already”
Be like!?
LMFAO
Not even a MMA champion can deal with such a powerful boxer like Tyson.
This was a great video.
I remember as an kid watching Mr. Tyson crush opponent after opponent.
It was a magical thing to witness and something that made me get into boxing.
Great sport.
Mike Tyson makes it look far to easy.
Imagine how much rage he had pent up to unleash. That energy could have been used to do significant damage outside the ring
Hello
How are you doing today..??

Yeah, your right. He makes a pass at your woman, you defend her and he could do terrible damage to a guy
Verdade !
"Bruno vs Tyson" is a great documentary movie from 2021. Highly recommended. :)
I love Mike. He is a legend.
“Tyson era has begun” shiversss
Mike in his prime was the best boxer in the history of boxing....
Boxer AND puncher..
Which is preety much unheard of in boxers...
Mike was a good boxer, but his power in both hands was incredible, if he got one clean punch the fight was very likely over. Best boxer? Not even close! Most powerful puncher? Probably! Most exciting heavyweight of all time? Without a doubt!!!
Don't think we will ever see this kind of boxer again😞
@@coopertown7867 I hope not. Watching Tyson self destruct wasn’t pretty. He had the potential to be the undisputed GOAT but it never happened.
Im 43 and i grew up watching the history of boxing. Think for a second.. Mike in his prime which means him in his right mind the best boxers never last a few rounds...it was like he made the rounds last cause he was in control for fun... But when he got mad it was over quickly.....
Idk who your narrator is, but give this man a raise!!
Mike always knows what he is going to do next. He can bang out some combos like nobodies business. Dudes got focus and drive.
He had the perfect height advantage by just standing up normally punching them. The other boxers were all way too tall hunched over all the time.
