Awesome video, we need to visit there. Nicole is an AR girl from that area and used to spend a lot of time at Greers Ferry Lake when she grew up. We stayed at Cathrines Landing last summer and it was awesome. But we relied on RV safe gps and it took us in a back way through a neighborhood that was very steep in one spot and just difficult for our size of rig. Watching y'all's out takes crack me up and makes me feel better about making our videos LoL. Y'all stay safe

That place is beautiful. I have childhood memories of a Lake in Northern Indiana. My Dad built a Cabin on an island in North Webster Indiana. We spent a lot of time in the summers there skiing, boating. We dont have the nice fresh smelling lakes in fl. I miss the northern water. Great Video guys. what memories

Wow!!!! What a great video. That lake kinda reminds me of Possum Kingdom Lake on the Brazos River in Texas. All Four Day Holiday were There and years of Vacation time there. We had a little brown dog who kept watch in the front of the boat. Every time he saw a wave he would jump down til we past then he would jump back up. Brings back so many memories. You two knocked one out of the park again 🤠🤠🤠

Tennessee, upper east Tennessee to be exact. my husband and i are high school sweethearts over 54 years ago we are fixin to get back on the road, after takin time off to help our daughter with a family crisis. hope to see you out there. we will be the old couple

Goodstuff guys!! Grew up boating on Lake Cumberland Ky. Mom n Dad started taking us in the 60's . We have a cabin we built in the 90's now all our kids and grandkids, great grandkids get to grow up and learn to love the water.. my wife calls it her happy place!!

May have to check this place out sometime next year. Looks like its a 6 hr and 45 minute drive from our house here in Olathe, KS. We camped on Grand Lake in Oklahoma the week of the 4th of July and while we had a good time, it was very hot. Over 100 a couple of days. Kent
Nice! Arkansas gets super hot in late July and August too. But you just stay in the water. Ha! The water is close to bath water when it’s hot, but you can find some cooler temps in the deeper waters. Oklahoma has some nice lakes across the border!

Need a wetsuit for sure there. Even in the middle of summer, the water below the 2nd thermocline can get to below 40.

The road from the West side of the lake, to Hot Springs is long, windy and full of deer. We make the almost-hour drive to the gym in the dark every morning and it’s tricky. Finish Line RV Park is a great park though. It’s very close to downtown Hot Springs and Oaklawn. So depending on how much time you want to spend and where, may be a determining factor. There are launches and marinas closer to the town. Those state park sites by the marinas have some really nice lake front sites. If you have a large rig, I would start with the online maps and make some phone calls. We have friends with large rigs that camp at Denby a lot, but that drive is tricky. I don’t mean to be non committal, but it is a mixed bag with all of them. Going in with context helps.
Looks very nice, but also with aspects of a very expensive tourist trap area. Not that we don't have plenty of those here in New England also. The sort of place where the upper middle class, and even the lower upper class, can feel like they have to choose between splurging like a wannabe, or picking and choosing how much to spend on what, to stay within their usual vacation budget, whether that is $2000 or $50,000 for a week or two. The only thing limiting prices for the higher-end experiences there, becomes the comparison to alternatives, whether that is a safari, in Africa, a cruise to Antarctica, a marina in Monaco, or a big ski house in Jackson Hole. When you said it can take boats of all sizes, I thought of Rodney Dangerfield's boat in Caddy Shack, dropping anchor through the judge's sailboat.
The lake varies from 40-200+ feet deep. You don’t have to go far to get into the hundreds. I would start at Mount Harbor Resort for the dive shop. There are several, but that one I know and they are a decent-sized marina. You can also check with Crystal Springs Marina or Brady Mountain Marina. I bet they have something as well.
Yes! We have all of the dates and locations down in the description and comments (if you need any other locations). Hershey, we will attend Friday and Saturday (13th & 14th) and we have a Meet and Greet station on Saturday @ 2:30. 🙃

Finish Line RV Park is a great park though. It’s very close to downtown Hot Springs and Oaklawn. So depending on how much time you want to spend and where, may be a determining factor. There are launches and marinas closer to the town.
Those state park sites by the marinas have some really nice lake front sites. If you have a large rig, I would start with the online maps and make some phone calls. We have friends with large rigs that camp at Denby a lot, but that drive is tricky.
I don’t mean to be non committal, but it is a mixed bag with all of them. Going in with context helps.
Looks very nice, but also with aspects of a very expensive tourist trap area. Not that we don't have plenty of those here in New England also. The sort of place where the upper middle class, and even the lower upper class, can feel like they have to choose between splurging like a wannabe, or picking and choosing how much to spend on what, to stay within their usual vacation budget, whether that is $2000 or $50,000 for a week or two.
The only thing limiting prices for the higher-end experiences there, becomes the comparison to alternatives, whether that is a safari, in Africa, a cruise to Antarctica, a marina in Monaco, or a big ski house in Jackson Hole.
When you said it can take boats of all sizes, I thought of Rodney Dangerfield's boat in Caddy Shack, dropping anchor through the judge's sailboat.

I know you mentioned it, but how deep is the lake ?
The lake varies from 40-200+ feet deep. You don’t have to go far to get into the hundreds.
I would start at Mount Harbor Resort for the dive shop. There are several, but that one I know and they are a decent-sized marina.
You can also check with Crystal Springs Marina or Brady Mountain Marina. I bet they have something as well.

What editing software did you start with
We have always used iMovie, since it came free on our Mac . The only thing that we have changed is that we have added Epidemic Sound music subscription.

Been there Great Lake many many many inland’s, Thomson bend campground is the best campground for bigger size rigs I find, Best pies at the Shangerla
Yes Thompkins Bend is great! We always enjoyed Denby when we were younger and tent camped. They had good beachside spots, but several did I guess. ☺️
