Hey Scrapman you should add AI Robots that guard the base entrance , walk around inside the base on some sort of robot line[color sensor] I think it would be great because the future military base is quite empty :)
2:27 the air defence ”thing” contains a mod glitch with the guns, since the creator replaced the guns. and if it the guns are the old when the mod updates it places them upwards instead of forward/the way you chose. you have to replace the turrets guns to restore the looks. but sadly they wont shoot, now they are decirative...

Put it in the back right and cover it with buildings so the only way in is to pass through a ally way so it’s like a club where troops go to relax and if people are sleeping it is far away if there is late night partys

Look at the vehicle (garage/armory/ base) at the next episode and I can give you the next next episode i suggest you to make base defences like artillery everywhere at your base or autoturrets or gatling spud guns like you marked that one with two big turrets i know it doesn't match the theme but you can colour the big gatling spun gun blue and a little bit black instead of red

I'd put the lounge next to the armoury, so that the soldiers will take little time to prepare if something happens while they're in there.
The spud robots could be used as some Enemies like Headcrabs that exist all over the map in various spots.
