Ugh I love the shade Ritz but no matter what primer I use with them the super shock shadows just rain shimmer and glitter into my eyeballs all day long!
I have several Revlon cream shadows that are great. I only use drugstore products and in my area of Ontario it is hard to find anything but the basic drugstore items. But I really like them 👍😍 you look gorgeous as always I'm 67 and I love watching you ❤️❤️❤️
Charlotte Tilbury eyes to mesmerize are my favorite one & done shadows. Not too glittery, definitely not chunky, just a gorgeous shimmer/metallic for the lid. I think they’re totally worth the price tag just because I loathe chunky glitter lol.😂 Oyster Pearl is the GOAT!🏆🎉 The hourglass scattered light glitters are fantastic. I really like Moira’s pot & crème shadows as well.❤ loved this video!

I love the Hard Candy brand I must say that their primers, lip liners, concealer, and foundations are wonderful! I also love Ulta Beauty collection products! They have stackable cream highlighter, blush and bronzer that I am enjoying, and a powder trio also that I really like! Their eyeshadow primer is one of the best I’ve used, I like unit better than the UD Potion primer at a fraction of the cost. Just my thoughts! Have a wonderful weekend Kelly and everyone!🥰
Omg Kelly! I'm SO excited you have Charlotte Tilbury ETM in 'oyster pearl' AND Hourglass scattered light in 'smoke'! Try putting smoke over oyster pearl! It gives such a beautiful look! Especially those two shades together specifically! (I would tap on the smoke over oyster pearl rather than swipe it on though) I know it's not "one & done" but I'm telling you, you need to try it! Especially because you're like me with the love for glitter and sparkle! ❤️

Girl I'm right there with you on the primer. I used to get by with anything on my eyes but now powder shadows will crease at the end of the day! Primer potion is the only thing that keeps everything in tact these days!
You might really enjoy the Phytosurgence eyeshadows, especially the new sparkly ones! They’re my favorites for one-and-done shadows. The Ulta matte primer is so good! The Rare Beauty primer is decent too, but lately I’ve been using the About Face or Sigma eyeshadow sticks for primer. I’ve tried the Elf shadow sticks and they aren’t the best primers for me, but they’re great over a primer. My poor powder eyeshadow palettes are feeling so neglected! But speaking of powder I think I need the Jones Road shadow. ☺️
Ive been a one and done girl for so many years. Im glad its starting to be trendy now. I felt the pressure to make more intricate eye looks a few years ago and they never looked right on me. One and done suits me much better.
As someone with a 12 hour shift 5 out of 7 days a week I have no time for a full on paintjob. Give me an eye look that doesn't wash me out and doesn't scare the patients at the same time. 😅
I use Maybelline expert wear single shadow in Nude Glow every single day its AMAZING and super cheap! Trust me! It last all day on top of milani shadow primer!!
I picked up the Maybelline single in Nude Glow on the recommendation of Jessica Braun and it is GORGEOUS 😍 it’s my new everyday color for one and done ✅
Lorac diamond eyeshadow pots are absolutely stunning as well (I own all of them and the HG scattered lights) also..lol ofra came out with a beautiful glittery topper too..about face fractal glitter paints are also super gorgeous!
I love the Revlon pot shadows! They have one in espresso and chocolate and they’re just so lovely. Also the Victoria Beckham lid lusters are gorgeous!!! (Also Kelly so happy to see you’re coming around to Oyster Pearl!!! I agree it’s pricey but it’s always my one and done in a pinch. It looks put together but not as visually busy with glitter.
I have loads of sparkly shadows and top coats but the Hourglass Scattered Lights are the best there are! I highly recommend Ray and Reflect alongside Smoke. I even used up a whole jar of Reflect and repurchased 😂 They get compared to a lot of other shadows but these don’t crease or give me fallout!
I agree. They don't crease or fallout. I use them on bare lids with absolutely anything and everything at absolutely any time, day or night. ❤ just for that versitatily I think they're absolutely 💯 worth the price.

Stila Kitten has been my go-to one and done shadow for over a decade now. Back when I was younger it came in a cream formula and I religiously wore it with their black smudge pot liner. Now I just use the powder compact bc it’s less messy than their liquid formulas and it is exactly the right shadow for a subtle sparkle on my fair skin.
I have the ulta bouncy shadow in a neutral silver-y shade and I’ve used it for 2 of my 3 performances this year. 10/10 would recommend for that AND daily use

Great video. Obsessed with a one and some eyeshadow. I am currently into the eyeshadow sticks. I was never into doing those three shades with eyeshadow pallet. But always loved a few shades from the pallet. I love the industry is getting that there are some simple girls that love the one and some shadow trend.
Since you love the Hourglass ones, you should try the Bodyography Glitter Pigments! I LOVE that product! Some are very sparkly (like Sparkler) and some are more subdued (like Off the Hook, which is a gorgeous one and done). I never experience any fallout from them, and they hold up really well on my oily hooded lids (I do use a primer).

My skin has changed so much. I am experiencing a lot of flaking, redness and irritation. Glad you made this video! I feel like I’ve had a hard time finding cruelty free single eyeshadows that meet my color preferences (specifically undertones). I’ve really loved the Jones Road shadows though! Peachy Nude is my fav! I’ve also recently been liking the single pot mineral eyeshadows from the brand Lily Lolo. They are loose pigment, so you need a good primer base and may have to alter technique a bit to apply, but overall I really like them and definitely recommend to others!
CT Oyster Pearl looks a lot like Maybelline Color Tattoo in High Roller, which is my all time favorite one and done shadow. Such a beautiful taupey brown that seems to pull color from whatever I’m wearing. And it does not budge!! I think they’ve discontinued it 😭 but you can still find them online.
I recently picked up a Bobbi Brown cream shadow stick in Golden Pink and it's beautiful. It lasts all day and doesn't crease even without a primer. Oh I forgot to mention I also really like the Elf Liquid Glitter Shadow in Flirty Birdy as well.
I love those bouncy cream shadows from ulta. My favorite shades are sugar cookie, which has gold and silver shimmers with a very light taupe base, and champagne sorbet. Champagne sorbet is like a more subtle version of the ulta foiled eyeshadow in rose gold. I recently discovered the shades “valentine” and “do the most“ from Ultas powder eyeshadow singles. And they are stunning! Somehow the glitter particles are even finer than glitter in the bouncy cream eyeshadows. I use them over nyx glitter glue and they don’t budge. They look and feel so creamy and almost glossy for a powder, they could easily pass for a highend product. I was also pleasantly surprised by Moira’s lucent cream eyeshadows and the starshow shadow pots. I fully expected them not to live up to the online hype, but they really are so good. I think the lucent creams are even better than colourpop supershock shadows. They really make your lids glow and are perfect one and dones. The starshow shadow pots have the same intense glow as the ulta foiled e/s, but the base pigments have more color payoff and there’s less fallout.

Love this! I honestly was getting overwhelmed with the super complex eye looks. Plus I didn’t feel like it was super office appropriate. I’ve been just doing a lot with blush and bronzer lately. But one and done is my favorite. For a long time the Thrive Mina stick was and still is my favorite. I didn’t want to spend that much on it, but I can not find a shadow stick that is similar. I think I’ll just buy it when and if it goes on sale. Unless anyone has a dupe suggestion. I’ve tried Milani and elf shadow sticks. It just doesn’t cut it for me.
I love this type of eye makeup! My favorite shadows that give me this effect are Charlotte Tilbury's Exagger eyes (the one shimmery shadow that has a very soft base) for everyday and something in a bit more crazy , multidimensional shades, that is LH Cosmetics Shimmer Saga
I REALLY need to know more about those Hourglass and Flower lip products! My all time favorite from Tarte (Quench Lip Rescue) has of course been discontinued, and I don’t care for the “replacement” - Maracuja Juicy Lip blah blah blah AT ALL. Hourglass and Flower sound sound like great options.
I fell for the Oyster Pearl hype and have it too. I feel the same way; it's a good solid one and done, pretty, not a standout quite honestly, and sort of overhyped. But I do like it and do wear it. I wouldn't spend $34 again on it, though.

kelly I used concealer set with powder for years I'm 55 now and I've got to use a primer other wise it looks awful for some reason as I've got older my eyes have changed i have dry skin tho I think your eyes have a mind of their own i wear one and done most of the time if not natasha danona shadows I find them more for giving on my eyes since I,'ve got older xx
I got the Jones Road so pretty following the Rec you made last week but via a Poshmark seller as I tend to buy higher brands via 3rd party prior to committing - like bless EBay for my ISDIN photo eryfotona ageless sunscreen. Anyway as you stated the Jones road is truly so pretty as it mostly has a taupe under tone. Only thing my lazy self likes wearing it during day time so have to use a very light hand at it aka smallest amount on pinky. Appreciate any simple makeup vids as the simpler the better.
I wish I could do one and done, but with my eye shape, age 46, and fallen brows, I need a matte mid tone crease shade too. I love a pale shimmery or metallic lid shade though.
I actually really like a neutral mid-tone matte brown as a one and done shadow, which is weird, because I used to dislike matte shadows in general. But it kind of gives a more classy and put together look, where a shimmer sometimes looks out of place. But for shimmers, my favourite is actually the Natasha Denona Infra Nude cream shadow, which despite being a multichrome, I find the shift to be subtle enough to do something interesting on the lid, without being over the top.
I wanted to know if you've tried other shades of the Ulta Beauty Bouncy Eyeshadows like Buttercream (my go-to shade) or Sugar Cookie? and I was also curious to know if you've tried the Milani Gilded Eyeshadow Sticks as a one and done eyeshadow as of yet?🤔
Ik it's not your thing, but it would be so fun to see you try some indie shadows! I love some shades from Pretties For Your Face as one-and-dones, like Asteroid, Kallichore, Blast Off (for a steel blue look), Ohm (a muted neutral cool-toned multichrome). It's not a $20 single eheshadow brand and they have frequent sales & affiliate codes stack.
I've never really gotten the hang of blending, so therefore, I could never do more complex shadow looks. I like the one and done looks because they're easy. The only thing that's a bit disappointing for me is that a lot of the shades that are sold are clearly made for people with light skin. I have olive skin, and the shadows never show up on me.
The Charlotte Tillbury one in the Chocolate color is my fav one-and-done eyeshadow. Granted, I’m new to makeup and it’s my ONLY single shadow at the moment 😂 I tried some UD ones but they didn’t work for me and hurt my eyes. Tempted to try Colorpop super shock, the Ulta ones and Jones Road shadow sticks. I got the CT pot on sale at Nordstrom’s, they have them occasionally 😅 I wish they had them in cool colors, like a dark dusky green, bright mossy green, a denim or navy blue, silver. Luckily I use the TINEST amount of shadow in that dark brown color, at the rate I wear makeup it’ll last me forever.
I’ve been loving the Lawless All in a Dream one pot shadow. It’s such a beautiful pink and is stunning alone or paired with a more complex look. I’ve been super impressed. 💛🌻
I bought Space Cowboy recently after hearing about it EVERYWHERE and honestly I hated it. I had such a hard time with it, tons and tons of fallout and it barely showed up on my lids. I hate returning makeup but I did return this. I replaced it with Colorpop Supershock, in Ritz and I Heart This (got both) and couldn’t be happier!

I am here for this! I wish I could find an Amethyst that is pure and not Taupy that spreads well. I've had no luck so far.

Somehow the glitter particles are even finer than glitter in the bouncy cream eyeshadows. I use them over nyx glitter glue and they don’t budge. They look and feel so creamy and almost glossy for a powder, they could easily pass for a highend product.
I was also pleasantly surprised by Moira’s lucent cream eyeshadows and the starshow shadow pots. I fully expected them not to live up to the online hype, but they really are so good. I think the lucent creams are even better than colourpop supershock shadows. They really make your lids glow and are perfect one and dones. The starshow shadow pots have the same intense glow as the ulta foiled e/s, but the base pigments have more color payoff and there’s less fallout.

Love this! I honestly was getting overwhelmed with the super complex eye looks. Plus I didn’t feel like it was super office appropriate. I’ve been just doing a lot with blush and bronzer lately. But one and done is my favorite. For a long time the Thrive Mina stick was and still is my favorite. I didn’t want to spend that much on it, but I can not find a shadow stick that is similar. I think I’ll just buy it when and if it goes on sale. Unless anyone has a dupe suggestion. I’ve tried Milani and elf shadow sticks. It just doesn’t cut it for me.

I love this type of eye makeup! My favorite shadows that give me this effect are Charlotte Tilbury's Exagger eyes (the one shimmery shadow that has a very soft base) for everyday and something in a bit more crazy , multidimensional shades, that is LH Cosmetics Shimmer Saga
I REALLY need to know more about those Hourglass and Flower lip products! My all time favorite from Tarte (Quench Lip Rescue) has of course been discontinued, and I don’t care for the “replacement” - Maracuja Juicy Lip blah blah blah AT ALL. Hourglass and Flower sound sound like great options.
I fell for the Oyster Pearl hype and have it too. I feel the same way; it's a good solid one and done, pretty, not a standout quite honestly, and sort of overhyped. But I do like it and do wear it. I wouldn't spend $34 again on it, though.

kelly I used concealer set with powder for years I'm 55 now and I've got to use a primer other wise it looks awful for some reason as I've got older my eyes have changed i have dry skin tho I think your eyes have a mind of their own i wear one and done most of the time if not natasha danona shadows I find them more for giving on my eyes since I,'ve got older xx
I got the Jones Road so pretty following the Rec you made last week but via a Poshmark seller as I tend to buy higher brands via 3rd party prior to committing - like bless EBay for my ISDIN photo eryfotona ageless sunscreen. Anyway as you stated the Jones road is truly so pretty as it mostly has a taupe under tone. Only thing my lazy self likes wearing it during day time so have to use a very light hand at it aka smallest amount on pinky. Appreciate any simple makeup vids as the simpler the better.
I wish I could do one and done, but with my eye shape, age 46, and fallen brows, I need a matte mid tone crease shade too. I love a pale shimmery or metallic lid shade though.
I actually really like a neutral mid-tone matte brown as a one and done shadow, which is weird, because I used to dislike matte shadows in general. But it kind of gives a more classy and put together look, where a shimmer sometimes looks out of place. But for shimmers, my favourite is actually the Natasha Denona Infra Nude cream shadow, which despite being a multichrome, I find the shift to be subtle enough to do something interesting on the lid, without being over the top.

Ik it's not your thing, but it would be so fun to see you try some indie shadows! I love some shades from Pretties For Your Face as one-and-dones, like Asteroid, Kallichore, Blast Off (for a steel blue look), Ohm (a muted neutral cool-toned multichrome). It's not a $20 single eheshadow brand and they have frequent sales & affiliate codes stack.
I've never really gotten the hang of blending, so therefore, I could never do more complex shadow looks. I like the one and done looks because they're easy. The only thing that's a bit disappointing for me is that a lot of the shades that are sold are clearly made for people with light skin. I have olive skin, and the shadows never show up on me.
It's so funny to me seeing this whole lineup swatched together, it STRONGLY reminds me of the Huda Rose Quartz palette!

The Charlotte Tillbury one in the Chocolate color is my fav one-and-done eyeshadow. Granted, I’m new to makeup and it’s my ONLY single shadow at the moment 😂 I tried some UD ones but they didn’t work for me and hurt my eyes. Tempted to try Colorpop super shock, the Ulta ones and Jones Road shadow sticks.
I got the CT pot on sale at Nordstrom’s, they have them occasionally 😅 I wish they had them in cool colors, like a dark dusky green, bright mossy green, a denim or navy blue, silver.
Luckily I use the TINEST amount of shadow in that dark brown color, at the rate I wear makeup it’ll last me forever.

I bought Space Cowboy recently after hearing about it EVERYWHERE and honestly I hated it. I had such a hard time with it, tons and tons of fallout and it barely showed up on my lids. I hate returning makeup but I did return this. I replaced it with Colorpop Supershock, in Ritz and I Heart This (got both) and couldn’t be happier!
I also recently returned UD single eyeshadows; they did not preform well and irritated my eyes.
I agree the super shocks are much better. I brought a few SSS to Disney world and they were perfect for getting ready fast and lasted all day 😊
