Gantries can move on their tracks once the load is suspended? I don't think so since there are no braces connecting the frames ... then, are these machines built for the sole scope of vertically lifting a weight to a specified height so that a trailer can be driven below and loaded? I guess so ... a reply would be appreciated .... Edit: I saw a ENERPAC video where the gantry is moved with the load attached, so ok, this can be done ... I'd like to know how they design the hydraulic motors start in order to minimize the inertia forces due to the load being suspended to the gantries
