Fully agree with you, my parents should have split up when I was young, but they did the sticking it out for the kid thing, very toxic life.

When I was 17 I broke into the shed of my old house and took a shovel, dug up a peony bush in the garden and brought it back home to my new home and my mom replanted it for me.
My parents always said it was mine, since I was a toddler. It held sentimental value for me and I wanted it back! … And I was pretty drunk at the time of the crime 😅

Genuinely, anyone who’s feeling homicidal, please talk to a therapist. If you saying you’re having the thoughts and don’t intent to do anything (even if you do) they won’t report you. And then you can work through what happened to make you feel this way. It usually stems for childhood neglect, mistreatment and abuse. Also, screaming into pillows helps alleviate some of it immediately. There’s nothing horribly wrong with you if you’ve been abused/ mistreated and feel this way, it’s normal and there are other ways to express and get out the anger and feelings of injustice. Like EMDR therapy and medications.

I had a moment today that I was able to apply some of your advice. I live in Mexico and most of the houses are made with concrete. Today I went into work and the door was jammed. When I finally opened it, most of the roof and the ceiling fan had fallen over the area I work, I'm a barber so I stand at one spot most of the time. I just went back home and waited half an hour before planning on what to do next. I'm going to deal with it tomorrow.

I can't stress this enough not just any therapist or shrink or whatever. Those people aren't necessarily trained in evidenced backed treatment.
Also liscwnced psychologist should be able to interject in your life wherever you are being caused pain.
