I couldn't make out the brand of sticks you are using. They seem to fit perfect in the pack. Not sure if mine will be that easy a fit. Thanks for the video. Very informative.
My only complaint for the whole system is the cheap shoulder straps. Having some better padded straps and a chest strap would tremendously improve the system. Overall I’ve enjoyed using this pack and boot bandolier. Definitely more of a minimalist set up for early to mid season when you don’t need to pack extra gear and clothing. I’d love to see a “gen 2” version of this with the improved back pack straps.
Im here in Missouri. I live about 500 meters from Gasconade river 20 minutes from Fort Leonard wood. Im retired Army. I just got into saddle hunting couple years ago.
Looks great for an evening hunt, especially nearly season. How much are thise orange molle straps to hold the sticks? The only downside I can see is if you want to haul in extra clothes or gear, theres no room for extra stuff. Trying to decide between this and a trophyline cays pack
It's been a while since something in the hunting industry has truly raised my eyebrows, but this setup does. Unlike a lot of other saddle hunting related equipment, it seems to be fairly reasonably priced too. Might just need to sell off some things I got collecting dust. Don't know of anyone that needs a Trophyline CAYS 2.0 do you? 🤣
@@Go_eagles94 I like its size and organization options, and I like that it has a waist belt. It just doesn't feel like a $150 pack to me though. It honestly just feels cheap. The zippers are small and seem weak. It kinda feels like something you'd buy at walmart for $50 or 60 bucks.
New video coming soon, but we found some molly clips on amazon and attached them to the back. Added para cord to the sticks and now have a way to climb and grab as we go. Video soon
All together what would you say your setup cost? Being a disabled vet, it's hard for me to purchase a lot of things. Especially using certain gear due to my disabliities i found climbers have done best for me this far. I got some guys saying I need to get a saddle setup feom XOP, and like you, I'm a bigger feller, not to be mistaken for a fart smaller, unless it's mine. If ya need I can PM you on IG or wherever, I'm down here in Northern Ar Kansass.
Cheap suspenders would solve your issues most likely. Otherwise, you could easily hook it onto the steps or a molle loop on the pack with a light weight S-biner or plastic caribiner.
You made this video 4 months ago, it is now the week before thanksgiving and the price is way more than what it was 4 months ago.. it’s 200 dollars now for the setup you have..
Maybe wrong on this but I think I heard that they was going to start making one that would attach to your backpack. I kinda like that idea, but will have to see
Saddle hunting is such a pain in the ass. My favorite thing is my climbing stand. It's super light weight, pretty comfortable and easy to use. And it's only 2 parts to worry about other than my harness and bow...

The owners are great guys. I recommend this product.
Agreed!

Thats awesome man!!

Go to the twisted iron hunting website and browse. Lots of options! You wont be disappointed
Is there room for rappel rope, madrock, biner and D-ring?
Were do you put your linesman belt and tether

Nope 😂😂
Out of curiosity what do you like/dislike about your cays pack
Honestly everything i told the owner i disliked, has been addressed in the next version. Larger shoulder straps, a chest strap, larger molly straps.

Do you gotta take it off and attach your sticks to your saddle or can you easily reach behind you, grab a stick and climb?

Would this pack work with 34" sticks? Iam thinking the sticks would hit my legs
Will this work with a hang on tree stand?

Honestly i have the best of the best for saddle gear. Probably a grand easily. However you could start around $300
Seems cool but where do you put your saddle? I cant wear mine in as it just falls down off me lol
My saddle has shoulder straps. I wear it in.

Why is it falling off? What kind of saddle is it?
Very nice product
I need to get a setup like that. Tired of packing a hang on or a climber.
Thats why i did it too
Where do you put your camera gear...lol
In the side pouch of my tethered saddle. Its huge
Cant even buy one. Are they not released yet?
They are released.
I love the concept! Except I could tell by the sound of you rustling it around, it’s made of that noisy plastic like material! Ugh
Not really. I just have good microphones. Its quiet as anything i wear

Not really a good way to bring any other layers though.

There’s enough molle loops to attach/hang extra layers off of most of these style packs.
There is already a version 2 made. Ill have it soon
Just get the XOP evolution pack

Finally!!
It nice but it is way to expensive you already pay a ton for saddle
Hunting gear I will stick with my tree stand
If you think $100 is expensive you need to get out of the hunting game. 😂😂
