Jonnyman is literally the greatest antagonist ever: tragic backstory, epic introduction, and keeps the heroes on their toes at all times. The villain always had the plot twist where he actually wins so that it makes a win even more epic in the next arc, or when he joins the hero's side to face the real evil. He's someone who you want to win and lose at the same time.
No matter how big Dougs audience gets it’s always going to feel like that same tight knit community because of how engaging and interactive he is with his viewers

Sometimes I get a little scared of his twitch community growing too much, I don't mean I worry about him growing in popularity, deserves so much more recognition than he gets, but the thing that makes this work and so beautiful is how tight nit the community is, if it grows and grows we will lose that, the more people could mean the worse, at least a possibility

But not so much with multiplayer. In fact the levels become almost impossible to beat in that case. A legendary moment happened when alpharad was playing Mario maker co-op with his friends and managed to get stuck on this level for almost an hour (It’s the one of the first courses in this video) th-cam.com/video/4I5GRBgegyQ/w-d-xo.html And then after he and his friends finally overcame the level that was literally just supposed to be designed to be easily beaten for free extra lives. They thought they were safe, but then in the same superworld in a later video there was Another “refreshing course” which was basically the exact same level, but again. And the pure despair in all of their voices at the realization made these “refreshing” levels pretty infamous and iconic. And sort of an inside joke in the Mario maker community.
