    I'm sure I checked your channel for a video on this. Got some pipe today to do mine and this video pops up on my feed. Interesting.
    Looks straight forward enough, wish me luck.
    Your bike would look great painted blue ; )

      Lol, I reckon we get spied on a lot. It's funny how even when you are talking to someone and then shit adds pop on your feed. Hope the pipe works out, my muffler was off the versys I had but is more likely the same. I'm sure you have a lot more skills than me.

    The catalytic converter is the fat bit between the muffler and O2 sensor right? So you are running without one or is it hidden under the bike?

    Did you or has anyone here also had the bike mapped? If so what was the outcome in terms of performance and fuel economy?

    • @bazz6670
      @bazz6670  ปีที่แล้ว

      No Mapping , haven't noticed any difference in fuel economy, just sounds better.

    Can you tell me where you got the mid section pipe with the O2 sensor socket? Any link? Also, what's the bend on that link pipe?

    • @bazz6670
      @bazz6670  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That section came with the system. I originally bought a complete system for a versys 650 . When I fitted this muffler I used the original vstrom headers. You can actually buy a complete system from Delcevic for around $350 australian

      @@bazz6670 yes I know, but I am trying to make an 'economical' solution consisting of extending the existing pipe(s), either from before or after the 2 in 1 collector (like you did) and then make it into a switchable slip on solution. I am keen to try one of those cheap eBay pipes and see what they are like, but first i need to solve that middle section, which includes the O2 sensor. I know I can drill a hole and weld a sensor socket on the pipe also, but if ready made pieces are not too expensive, I'd prefer to go that way. Also, if I can make it so that the original muffler can be reinstalled, that would be preferable.

      It is a Delcevic brand, you can actually buy a whole system for around $350 . Have a look at their website.
