Zermatt Switzerland's Real Stars "Blackneck Goats"

Zermatt is the ultra cool Swiss ski town that has its "special stars" only come out from early July to mid-August. These stars are the Blackneck Goats that stroll down the street (Bahnhofstrasse) each day at 9 AM and 5 PM.
As they stroll down the street the "tourist paparazzi" jostle each other for a look at the cutest goats you will every see. Once almost extinct, the little darlings repeat a Zermatt tradition twice per day that is the Star attraction each time it happens.
The village fills with the sound of bells as the Goat Parage proceeds through the center of the village. It is a true spectacle that is not to be missed.
Be there to see it yourself! These goats are playful and a lot of fun for kids of all ages.
