Not to mention Vegeta powering through Beerus’ punch to continue his strikes shows how his emotions takes to him a whole another level. It’s the icing on the cake 👌
Talk about the biggest downgrade honestly. Nothing kills the impact of a rage moment like it being drawn out and awkward, instead of the sudden explosion of anger that the movie portrays.
. Voice lines, the movie did it better, but if the anime had sped it up a bit after he goes crazy, it would feel better. The movie was too quick in my opinion to let Vegeta shine, then slap him off. But the anime gave him a bit more opportunities to show off his rage. I'm 70% anime, 30% movie.
@@TheTerminator2298Almost totally agree. I think Vegeta's wrath is better represented in the anime in part because of that scene being that long, but it's true that they could've just cut a little part.
Movie version better but him saying what did you do to my bulma in the anime is way better it just sounds better then Thats my bulma in the movie in my opinion
I am trying to figure out what he said too. It sounds like he might have said that's my wife to me. Is it different what he said between the movie and anime?
@@Bananaking-the-Third i just watched the anime version again and he clearly said "what did you do .. to my BULMA" but the movie one is hard to figure out
I like the transformation better but the movie did the slap and Vegeta's reaction better. In the anime it's way to overly dramatic and drawn out. If I had it my way I'd have the quick and sudden slap from the movie, Vegeta's shocked reaction from the movie, the blind with rage transformation from the anime, and then Vegeta just laying into Beerus immediately. No drown out screaming, no speeches, just pissed off Vegeta beating the snot the cause of his pissation. At least until Beerus gets bored.
Yall saying the anime did it better cause is eyes... it showed his eyes for less than a second literally every other moment in the anime scene is cringe and dragged out
Bruh, movie version all day! DB Super is just so damn dragged out and talkative. Dudes wife just got knocked out, but DBS Vegeta wants to have a stupid anime talk scene. Nah, the movie gets to the point. You can actually feel the rage and speed. DB Super I'm just like, can you get on with it please... Although, like all anime, even the film suffers from that damn action break exposition... Like, shut up Roshi. (Let me explain literally what just happened, "remember when Bulma got hit, that gave Vegeta a power boost..." like the audience is stupid or something, I wish we got anime edits that cut all that crap out. We literally saw SSJ3 Goku get bodied in the begining of the film never landing a hit, clearly Vegeta is more powerful at this moment.)
Dragonball Super made it look so overly dramatic and stupid, like I was so embarrassed to watch it, especially Vegeta's weird undignified body movements. In the movie it the slap was so sudden and harsh, not this weird build up, and he just fuckin' SNAPPED in a split second from 0-100 and went APESHIT on Beerus. Fuck Super for that scene, actually fuck Super for the whole birthday adaptation in general, it was all so cringey and weird for Vegeta's character. Super is really embarrassing in a lot of parts that it's part of why I haven't watched more than clips of it because it's all I can handle without cringing. I used to bingewatch the shit out of DBZ growing up since I own the VHS tapes and a DVD set, and even the OG anime is cringey at times but I can bear it, you know? It's more cheesy,, really, but usually in a kind of cute way, even if not really funny...but Super is just...wow.
Yes! I understand adapting the movies into the series because some won’t see the movies, however the movies were great so they should have just done it like demon slayer did, an almost shot for shot integration.
Man Super just longs everything out. Totally ruins the weight and agility behind the whole scene
It was the same with Z as well, it’s only more noticeable with the first few arcs of super as we saw the movies prior.
Yeah screaming is so much better than expository., (not)

Only thing I like more in the show version is when Vegeta goes pupiless when powering up. It looks badass

I agree so much! Much more emotion and impact.
Where can i find the movie?
Sure 💯

Only thing I didn’t like about super was that they made it look like vegeta just watched her die or sum shi
Maybe he realized she could've been severely injured by beerus
I like the movie version better.
Shit, I can't wait till they animate Ultra Ego! 🔥
Movie felt like First half of Z, Super felt like most of Buu Saga.
I can see what you are getting at there, which would you say you preferred though? I still stand strongly with the movie version.
@@Blaiddcymru Movie and First Half of Z 100%.
I know it drags it on a bit more but I love the anime version more because of the pupilous look It actually Makes it look like Vegeta is going berserk
