Very cool truck, the crawler course is awesome, put a coat of stain on it so the elements don't eat affect at the course.,..

Very cool rigs but not thrilled they haven’t made a better esc….a bit jerky and hard to slow crawl without it jumping.….modulation isn’t ideal

Every time Traxxas releases the same crap with a different body. It drives me nuts. Traxxas is a joke.

Man I’m ready for traxxas to come out with a new scaler chassis that’s more capable instead of all these bodies.
Agreed in my opinion just because it has a new body and is a slight variant of an existing chassis does not make it new.
It’s completely laid out as any scale truck would be. The only other thing they could do is release straight axles and make a comp crawler which isn’t scale at all.
As long as it comes with a metal panhard bar

Not a lot of options if you're going to stick with a scale chassis. Traxxas rarely ventures on the comp side of things so, new bodies may be all there is in the cards? 🤷🏻♂️
one thing bad about the rc industry that ive noticed in my short time here is that they release virtually the same car with little to no changes and they call it a day, like let's see some cool innovation and new products not the same stuff with 50 iterations that each change one thing. I mean this is a cool looking body and i can see people who dont have an trx4m getting this but for people that already have one i dont see the point in getting it for just the extended chasis. like i said maybe its me just being new but i dont see a point if you have a trxm

When are they goin to do any dodge pick ups or any Jeeps??? I have asked and it’s always the same response watch our insta and pretty much wait. I’ve waited a year or so. I love traxxas and would love something with a factory box not buying aftermarket bodies

Give it a few weeks they will have some "new" car that'll will be exactly like this but a Ford. You can count on it.
I like it but the FMS Blazer is still the top dog currently. Based On performance & it looks amazing. The king still has his crown.
If the 4m had a 2 speed trans the fms would be no competition

The entire chassis looks like a different design. Look at the front rise. One is curved one looked notched

since Traxxas likes taking their existing model, stretching it, adding a different body and call it "new" i'd really like to see a shorter version of the new Sledge with shorter arms and a buggy body making it an 1/8th scale e buggy!
would also be nice to get a nitro version of the Sledge while we're at it.

Great looking truck and handles really well! The taller ride height is something that's a benefit in these smaller scales. The increase in ground clearance makes it much easier to clear obstacles and outweighs any disadvantage of a higher CG.
If found the exact opposite,any ride height added kills performance
@@V8chump I'd normally agree but in these small scales the improvement in ground clearance seems to outweigh any concerns about cg 👍

For a $176.00 it should come with lights in the rollbar but I’m sure Traxxas will be selling a rollbar with lights installed

Grind the inside of the knuckles with a Dremel so that you get 10 degrees of more steering and it will have a sharper turning radius.
