My local hobby shop held a Urban Crawl event....30 rc's driving around downtown Friday night it was great so many ppl helped us and took pictures and videos 😊
I’ve been concentrating on 1/8 off road racing and haven’t touched my crawler’s in a couple of years. This video is making me want to go crawling again, gee thanks mark 🤣👍👍
Braiding the wires for the lights make it look really clean. Just twist the wires to each light and then if there are other lights running the same direction twist those wires as well and then twist each set of wires together and they stay “braided” like one solid wire.
TRX4 Defender with aluminum bumpers, Bow House battery tray, 75gm knuckle weights, ESS-1, pro sport lighting. Nice traction boards. Might need a set of red. Have a 2075 red dot in my killerbody chassis but it’s going in the defected if that kit didn’t have one. The killerbody is a lightweight compared to TRX4.
That really is so cool....I'm jealous that I'm not anywhere near you guys I would love to be part of that, but love seeing all you guys and girls get together, all the lights in the woods look so awesome.....so cool to see the kids into it also..💯👍👍
I absolutely live the traxxas 400. Wicked speed and strength. And ya got to have the bec which is easy. Traxxas is simple to wrench im with you always use traxxas upgrades for simple instructions. Good video brother
Why has nobody noticed the stock servo is ok when the diffs are unlocked. As soon as you lock the diffs, servo output is weak. I’m wondering if BEC using stock servo will fix the issue
I have to have metal beadlocks on my crawlers before I even take it out. Everyone of my crawlers has beadlocks. My New Bronco TRX the servo went out after only a few runs. Also I don’t think they hold up well in wet conditions.

I added lights to mine, but decided there is a limit to what I feel each vehicle needs. Since I hardly run my TRX4, I am perfectly fine leaving it mostly stock. I only go overboard on the cars I run the most, like my Rustler.
Wish I knew when / if you are going to have one in June or July, and if it is a time when I have my sons over summer break, to be able to come down from OKC and bring my BackBone out for a test
Ditto! Is this out at Erwin Park in North McKinney? I was out there yesterday, Tuesday, May 30. It was during the day while the rain was sprinkling just a bit. While driving through, I saw six huge spiders. They look like tarantulas, but I can’t say for sure. I took a video of the largest one which was about the size of the palm of my hand. Had it not been in attack mode, I might’ve attempted to pick it up.
Hey Mark, I'm gonna be taking my Dad to a track so we can run our stadium trucks for the first time in a couple of weeks. We've bashed them for years, but never run on a track. We're about 30min from Indy RC World. I have been looking at videos of the track trying to figure out what tires would be best for that surface. Is it clay? I have an Xray XB4 with some older tires on it. I have been reading that Proline Holeshots are excellent tires for clay. Would you suggest these? Dad has a Slash ultimate, and I have a Ten SCTE 2.0 with all the upgrade goodies. He has stock traxxas tires, and mine has Duratrax Six Pack ST's. Where are you crawling? We also have SCX24's, and would love to crawl them on a crawler course. Is there a decent one in the metroplex?
If you lived in Denmark you would splash so much cash for those upgrades you would get a call from your bank the next day to know if you had your wallet and plastic stolen.
Meh. I'd recommend ditching the entire traxxas electronic ecosystem. It's over priced and extremely mediocre.. simply holding back fun and performance. The hair thin wires on their leds are way to fragile. Aftermarket parts and electronics are what keeps people buying traxxas models. All rtr electronics suck.

The last Moonlight Crawl I went on, we counted 46 cars on the trail. That was about 8 months ago.

what's a good wheel/tire for the TRX4 Defender?... not really into comps but wouldn't mind an aggressive setup.
Some people trim the lugs on the stock tires and they work better in mud and rocks. Look it up.
