I can’t take credit for it. Got the idea from a friend. But it’s a great little DIY project. Thanks for watching, and I hope you subscribed too!

Went through this again (just ordered some trail cameras). This is a good idea and I appreciate it.
I do have a question though. Am I the only one that noticed that you apparently lost one of the rubber washers sometime between the beginning of the video when you showed the parts inventory and the end of the video where you showwed the utilization of those parts in the assembly?
I watched three times and it certainly appears as if you ended up only using two of the original three rubber washers in the final assembly.
I'm guessing you took a break and one disappeared from your table so you shot the video without the third rubber washer which was probably originally destined to be used somewhere between the eye bolt and the eye screw.
Hey, it's not rocket science, so all we really need is the basic idea and we can experiment with adding the third rubber washer (or even two more) if more friction is needed between the eye bolt and the eye screw to keep the camera from rotating after the device is screwed into a tree.

man, you have some great attention to detail !! yes, you will use THREE rubber washers. one under each end and one in the middle between the two eye bolts. thanks for watching! have fun building these. BTW, if you would rather just purchase a mount, i have also used these HME mounts and they work pretty well. amzn.to/3WujErA

Can you please post an image of the parts list so I can take this to the store with me?

I’m sorry, I can not do that, I don’t have the list anymore. My recommendation would be to watch the video and when I read the list, write it down. People at the hardware store will know what the items are, they are very common parts

Thanks for watching! Yes, they are such an easy and fun way to save a couple $$. Get those poachers!!! If you are looking for a great cam, try the Reveal x 2.0. (I’ve done a review on them also). Here’s a link to buy them on Amazon.

Nice vid. The loud background music while you are talking is awful - hard to hear and distracting.
