Thank you so much. I needed this. You have no idea how awesome it is to find someone who can film and explain in an understandable way. Thank you once again. Happy Knitting.
Hi! Thanks for the tutorial! I’m a beginner knitter. I working on a chunky knit blanket. I knitted three panels now I need to connect them together. Thank you!! Rita
Thank you for the video it was so easy to follow and it gives a really good finish to my squares. I am putting together charity blankets and the squares have been made by a lot of different knitters and this method makes it very easy to assemble so thanks again for taking the trouble.
Thank you for this video - most of the videos I’ve found about joining squares talk about joining either garter stitch or stockinette stitch squares - this is the first one I’ve found that demonstrates seaming together squares of stitches going in different directions. So helpful! I’m wondering if the same technique can be used to seam mitred squares together. Thanks again! You’ve got a new fan!
I have a really long blanket strip that I need to to stitch...might have to double stitch to keep it tight enough. Its apporox 6 foot in length lol so might take me a few hours to do that.
As long as you’re switches line up with one another, it should be fine. Say, for example, you have another swatch of the same size next to it. You should be able to line that up. It doesn’t matter what my number was.
You are a bubble of sunshine, so cherry when I'm frustrated and you seem to just glide along and never even get hung up or frustrated. What's your secret?
Colleen Misner sure! Just make a square in the stitch pattern you like best and create your own patchwork blanket with different colors of yarn. I do have a whole new series of crochet videos as well if you need. I think the linen stitch would look really great!
Thea Stewart LOL! Do you mean finishing the work or the finished work? Heeheee! But seriously. Finishing the work has become easier for me now that I save that annoying task for when I’m at a knit/crochet group gabbing away. It’s easier when chatting and makes the painful work of doing it seem like a breeze!
Just want you to know this is still super helpful! Thank you!
BEST KNITTING TUTORIAL EVER! Such a lovely human being and perfectly understandable, thank you!
I love how you sewed the panels together. Thank you for your help. I love it.

I had clicked on this video by chance after I had just learned to knit, and what in the coincidence that I used the exact same yarn.
Thank you so much showing me how to join my blanket squares neatly as l struggled finding the best technique
Mitered squares!! I think your spin on a mitered square would be awesome, Kristen!!!

What do you do with the tails? When you get to the end, you just tie it in a knot?
That was very good thank you
may I ask how your secure the tails and make sure they dont unravel?
Hi Kirsty
Can you tell can do figure 8 stiches for squares on long loom? Thanks
Is there a way to seam these so the seam is invisible?
What if you don’t have the same amount of stitches to rows? For example, my squares I made are 20 x 27 ???
As long as you’re switches line up with one another, it should be fine. Say, for example, you have another swatch of the same size next to it. You should be able to line that up. It doesn’t matter what my number was.
Where can I find the pattern for this blanket please? Thanks Sarah

Love this!
I’m sewing squares in a baby blanket and the pieces are not flat and perfectly square . Should I block each square first before I sew them?
Yes, it is best to block them first. If you sew them in unblock, and things are wonky, it can lead to a blanket puckering in spots it shouldn’t.
@@GoodKnitKisses thank you so much! You’ve saved me a lot of headaches! 👍
Thank you so much 💞😍
thank you!
Can you make this in crochet or Tunisian crochet .. like doing the panels and the colors
Colleen Misner Thank you so much!

So informationative I love it
I would to see German short row
I do have a video showing the German short row on the loom. Or are you wanting for needle knitting?
She's doing the Mattress Stitch.
No, this one is different. It is not as rigid and secure as the mattress stitch. Please see my video on the mattress stitch.
Sorry, accidentally responded from my other account. Have a great day!
Every one you can post. Finish work scares me! Lol
