I also appreciate that they gave him new gripping hands that match the fists this time, which for me was a big pet peeve on the previous Moon Knight figures.
I feel for the price that we are paying for the Marvel legends. They should consider putting cloth cape on certain characters,McFarlane is starting to do it. Just my opinion
I like Moon Knight as a dope character especially how he has 3 personally disorder and even teams up with the Egyptian god Khonshu, I don't have him but great review overall.
I continue to appreciate your shorts, but I'm glad to see you doing longer videos a bit more lately: I only wish Hasbro could've released a better wave of figures for them...
The plastic cape it came with actually looks better then the fabric one to me because because of the black inside of it .i haven't gotten him yet but if this Hasbro new moon knight figure has the same body and Cape of magneto 97 number two it shouldn't be to hard to stand him but i do agree too that the custom cape is a much better choice to play with the figure with because of its flexibility . When it comes to playing with it. I think Hasbro got another winner here with this new moon knight its a fare improvement . ill probably only get him and wolverine and Dracula of this wave im not to interested in the others though . nice review. Bro 👍🏻
The perfect match for Tigra, since this matches his look from West Coast Avengers. Compliments that team perfectly. Hopefully soon they'll make the Zodiac Cartel
That wired cape you added to the figure, really lifts it. The Sunfire bod has plus's and minus's. Shoulders are low and small, but butterfly shoulders work better than Vulcan's. A ball joint torso and waist would help. The pinless look is an improvement.
It would be great if we got a plastic cape and a cloth cape the same way we get assorted hands and heads. I know it's a lot to ask for but that would be the perfect solution. I hate for the fabric capes to get dirty or the fabric gets frayed in some fashion.
First to give the thumbs up on this one! Nice review. I haven't got mine yet, but I look forward to receiving it soon. I want to give him a wired cape. I'll probably give his golden arm & leg bands, and his belt some Gundam brown marker enhancing also. We should absolutely be getting cloth capes from Hasbro. Even McFarlane gives us soft goods capes at this point so Legends now has NO excuses. They have to stop with the rubber capes
Hasbro definitely does the plastic capes on purpose to leach more money out of customer. Recently the infinite hour podcast has a staff member from McFarlane toys team on, he mentioned the cloth capes and said it was way cheaper to make cloth capes than plastic capes. Hasbro still does the plastic capes to rerelease the same figures in the future with minor upgrades to make customers keep buying. McFarlane toys pulls alot of cheap shots as well, but in my opinion not as much as Hasbro
It's a shame that Hasbro seems unwilling to go in on softgoods capes and jackets which for me is the only items I'd like to see as soft goods at this scale.....Moonknight is my fav marvel character but I was really hoping Hasbro would have used the RYV buck for this figure as I feel it's a better proportioned buck than this one and I prefer the ball joint to the old waist swivel......I am happy that they fixed the length of the candy shell cape at least and I like the dark paint around the neck....great review as always
If u wanna make a pinless retro Moon Knight, it won't be possible. The gauntlets on the retro one are molded on, so u will still end up with pinned arms. Swapping the belt and boots is doable tho
My own opinion on this, but this figure should have been bigger. Moon Knight is about the size of Captain America so it looks so off to me that the figure is so much smaller and skinnier than Cap.
Why stop and cloth capes though? Make the whole costume cloth as it makes no sense to have some plastic and some cloth. Then you could dress then up. And also get real hair and brush the figure's hair while you're at it. Oh wait, they're not dolls.
I hate how some character deigns just don't work well in plastic. Moon Knight is an awesome character but he looks so lame on a blank white body. Doesn't help that they keep using the (in my opinion) outdated sunfire body. They should make a new mold and base it off of the gritty 2000s moon knight with all the wrinkles. Still, I might pick this one up because at least the gold is a new pop of color.
I also appreciate that they gave him new gripping hands that match the fists this time, which for me was a big pet peeve on the previous Moon Knight figures.
They're backward compatible with the previous Moon Knight too 🙌
I feel for the price that we are paying for the Marvel legends. They should consider putting cloth cape on certain characters,McFarlane is starting to do it. Just my opinion
McFarlane even said cloth capes are cheaper in a recent interview. There's really no excuse.
Cloth looks cheap sometimes and very hard to pose exactly as in the comic or movie
Nah, Hasbro's soft goods are mid af, i'd rather have the sculpted capes.
Put a wire in the cape, then we're in business. A thin flimsy lifeless cape like on the new Doctor Doom isn't great
The newest Dr. Doom in the Cabal pack has a cloth cape.

I'm waiting on a custom fabric cape with black or grey on the inside
The perfect match for Tigra, since this matches his look from West Coast Avengers. Compliments that team perfectly. Hopefully soon they'll make the Zodiac Cartel

Yeah so basically Hasbro repruposed the Sunfire body for the Renew Your Vows Spidey and 3-pack Daredevil

Looks good. Let's get fabric capes.

Thank you for the thumb 😁 Add Jada to the mass retail toy companies providing wired fabric capes

Not big on sustainability
A first-rate review of Moon Knight and his cool accessories!
how did you get these so early ? for me it says they ship in november

I prefer soft goods. The plastic capes and trench coats hinder articulation big time.
Exactly
Nice review, can you make a short if the gold arm bracers can be removed. Thanks.
Don't need a short, those gauntlets slide right off, revealing the regular sculpted forearms
@@xcorpeo thank you sir
Got this with no BAF for $8 😂
I pre ordered this guy just for the Blackheart head, gonna do a custom one because this wave is mid af
Are you able to swap the Gauntlets and Greaves with the Retro/Walgreens version?

@@xcorpeohi, do you know if the bracers of the new one can be removable?
@@francoperroud5332 yes
Keep the varianta of moon knight, you can make them as different persona
whoever changes into moonknight
Yep, good idea
Are the gauntlets removable?
Yes around his wrists but not those around his calves which are sculpted on
My own opinion on this, but this figure should have been bigger. Moon Knight is about the size of Captain America so it looks so off to me that the figure is so much smaller and skinnier than Cap.
The logo on the chest should be the Egyptian cross instead of the half moon.
The ankh was in Fist of Khonshu. The figure is based off west coast avengers
@@am_like_goijar you're right. Thanks.

@xcorpeo yeah, no thanks.
cloth cape makes sense tho brev
@@shadowflash2392 ?
@shadowflash2392 "brev"? Ironically, your reply makes no sense.

Still horrendous 😂. I feel bad for Moon Knight fans who collects Marvel legends
