Looney's injury was so underated. If he was 100% like he was in the rockets/trailblazers series I think the warriors could at least extend the series even if all other injuries occured. He was such a good pick and roller, and his defensive value was off the charts. The warriors lost out on defense after he went out

Demarcus Cousins injury really doesn’t count cause he was damaged goods before the season started so it was because of this that GS picked him up. If you expected him to be at his All Star level without injury, then GS would never have acquired him in the first place so it’s a time paradox.

Next year, Spurs were blowing out GS in Game 1 and then they took out Kawhi with a dirty play and that decided the series. Besides, that year GS had chemistry issues and played better without KD in the playoffs. When KD went down in Game 5, GS was up only 4 so really no impact.
