Matt Walksler @ Wheels through Time Museum in Maggie Valley North Carolina. Builds and runs old flatheads and knuckleheads. Knows more about flatheads than anyone I've ever seen (other than his dad). Might have the parts or info you need.
I am willing to bet that the flywheels and rods got put into a 61 cubic inch pan motor years ago that's the earl stroker motor stuff they used ul 80 inch flywheels and rods and ran a spacers under the cylinders
Is the TC Bros hardtail kit for the 04+ Sportster worth it? Is it still as strong as stock even tho it doesn’t have those like braces that go into the frame piping like on 03-?
Hey Dave! I might have a m51, I’ll have to look around. If not, hopefully I can find one for cheap. Ah yeah, I need to reach out to those guys. Thanks for the comment!
The one that is on the sportster? That was a throttle addictions seat pan that came with the hardtail kit, the owner of this bike sent the seat pan out to BnC cycles and they completed the rest of the seat! Contact them and let them know we sent ya! Thanks for watching and commenting! We appreciate it
He’s one of the coolest guys out there, called wheels through time to get in contact with him about the flathead a little while ago and unfortunately didn’t hear back. Not sure if he’s got much time for lil builders like myself haha Thanks for watching and your comments by the way! Always appreciated!
The welds are a mess. Get a certified welder to stop by give you some tips or a refresher course at a local welding school. Others safety is at stake and you are liable. Keep having fun !
Hey thanks! Realized while I was editing the canon was somehow set to 720p 😑 adjusted the settings and hopefully the next video will be better. Thanks for the comment and watching!
For the UL try Tatro Machine in San Diego. He knows old Harleys and stocks a lot of parts!👍
Ah yes, I will try and contact him for those parts! Thanks so much for the comment!

You guys quickly became my favorite channel for this type of content. Hoping I can get lucky with that sporty!🤞🍀
That UL will make a great project. Sporty is coming together nice....I like the skinny tank better.
Pretty sure any early 80 inch flywheel setup will work.
Looking good. Excited for next week's video!
Cool sportster man! May i ask what seat is that? Thanks.🤟🏿
