That's what I did in 2K16, 15, and so on. There are lots of superstars with low overalls and should be higher and lots of ones with high overalls that should be lower in my opinion.

Yeah :( I really wish you could just change overalls without having to pay, I know that you can change it by increasing the skill level (e.g.rope break lvl 3) but it only takes the overalls up about 1 or 2 points

I'm coming at this from a completely different perspective, I see these overalls as 2K paying attention, because to me, this is the first set of overalls I've seen that accurately reflects the product I watch. Curtis Axel is a 68? You're damn right he's a 68, he's a job guy! This thing where the lowest rating a jobber would ever get is like 80, 81, that's stupid. What I hope is, the overalls matter more and picking a lower rated character (I don't mean an 89 vs a 93, I mean a LOW ranked character, like late 70's, early 80's) makes you have to fight a little harder, because in 2K16, the winner pretty much just came down to who managed their reversals better, and I'm sure there's some of that, but if I'm Curtis Axel and my opponent is Randy Orton, I should have to overcome some kind of handicap, because I'm CURTIS AXEL. In fighting games like a Mortal Kombat, some characters just have better tools at their disposal than others, which forces people who want to use that character to really master them. That's just the way it works. Why should a wrestling game be any different? That's how it is when you watch WWE. Curtis Axel should get hurt faster than Randy Orton, his pin bar should have a little less room, he should have less stamina, his finisher should do less damage, because in the WWE, they are WORLD'S APART when it comes to their spot on the card. Now I will admit, there a FEW overalls that have me scratching my head. I do not understand how Cesaro is ranked in the same ballpark as Orton, Reigns and Hunter. I think Cesaro, just purely on his booking should be like an 85, 86 at tops. I think Xavier Woods is too high at 83, given that he's portrayed as by far the weakest member of New Day. I think Luke Harper is just a little too low at 79, I think he should be like an 81, maybe. Braun Strowman at 78 is a bit head scratching since he's portrayed as a monster. I wouldn't have thought much higher given he's been facing local jobbers exclusively , but I suppose he's being docked for speed, technical, etc, so maybe it is right. The big one to me is Nakamura at 86. I expected him to be ranked at least the same as Balor, Styles, etc, especially given he's undefeated, but I guess you're docked for being on NXT, which makes sense. It's not TOO drastic, so it'll be fine. The point is, I find these overalls to be very sensible, very realistic, card position based overalls. I'm not changing very much.
Agreed. Remember back in the days of the Smackdown games (e.g. Here Comes The Pain) when ratings ranged from about 68-95. So you'd get a guy like Charlie Haas who would be about 71-74 and Goldberg who would be 95 (if I remember correctly !) and it would be extremely challenging when you were a lower rated guy going up against a higher rated guy. Beating Lesnar or Goldberg with anyone lower than 90 rated was nearly impossible on HCTP, and to me that's how it should be now.

Actaully, the manager's overall is based on how much of a great manager they are. The higher, the more of a chance that they will help you win the match.

All the wrestlers who's overalls are 90 or higher: Triple H 2001, The Rock, Seth Rollins, Stone Cold, Sting 1999, Brock Lesnar, Chris Jericho 2001, Dean Ambrose, Edge, John Cena, Mankind, Randy Savage, Ric Flair, and all the Undertakers.
But they do compete for their own title. The game doesn't allow for male vs female, so their stats don't freaking matter in this case. Bayley is measured against the other women in the game not the men.
If it was so, then they'd have to render 7 competitors: the two wrestlers and five managers. We know 2K doesn't want that. One manager, yes, but two, I doubt it.
Some character models look like shit, guess they picked the wrong game to get rid of renders. Also, those overall ratings are horrible...playing online will be pretty interesting.
I'm jacked for this year, sycho Sid in dlc, undertaker in most attires especially 91 and original Kane, natural disasters and many my favs, papa shango etc only missing piece would have to be road warriors and demolition, I think in the future they need to empathize more into more classic tag teams!

I'm gonna miss the presence of Farooq (APA is one of my favourite legends Tag Teams) and Piper but this roster is off the hook for the most part. I'm big into the legends and enjoy creating a universe that has both new and old stars and the legends are nice this year. I know some of the came over from last year but I never bought the Hall Of Fame Showcase to get the bushwackers, The Harlem Heat and such (disappointed they left out Stevie Ray too but ah well) so I really like this. Also love that they added the old school 91 Undertaker attire.
I remember when people were saying Tyler Breeze, The Ascension, The Vaudevillains and Hideo Itami are the future of the scene because of what they did in NXT....now most of them play bench on WWE with these 68 - 73 ratings...bananas
Billy Gunn's model doesn't have wrist tape and it pisses me off that I will have to use a CAW slot just to make it the way it should have been. Same with Brie. I remember they did that same crap with Christian in SVR 2011.
I'm a little upset they took out my favorite version of Kane, Kane '01, but I'm glad they kept my favorite Undertaker, the Ministry Of Darkness Taker, and I'm especially glad they added the original Undertaker since that version of him is from my favorite era of wrestling, the late 80's/early 90's. I think it's especially awesome how '91, '98 & '99 Taker all have different poses on the character select screen. A minor thing but pretty cool. And of course, just like WWE 2K16, Corporate Kane will never be used in my game.

I'm jacked for this year, sycho Sid in dlc, undertaker in most attires especially 91 and original Kane, natural disasters and many my favs, papa shango etc only missing piece would have to be road warriors and demolition, I think in the future they need to empathize more into more classic tag teams!

Heads up - I did say in the video that it contains all alt attires. Although by going what others have said that might not be the case. When superstars had managers I think I had to proceed through to view their attires, which I didn't. It still shows most alt attires though! Some of the slots could have been more like alternate attires like Kane, Mick Foley, etc.
I'm gonna miss the presence of Farooq (APA is one of my favourite legends Tag Teams) and Piper but this roster is off the hook for the most part. I'm big into the legends and enjoy creating a universe that has both new and old stars and the legends are nice this year. I know some of the came over from last year but I never bought the Hall Of Fame Showcase to get the bushwackers, The Harlem Heat and such (disappointed they left out Stevie Ray too but ah well) so I really like this. Also love that they added the old school 91 Undertaker attire.

I remember when people were saying Tyler Breeze, The Ascension, The Vaudevillains and Hideo Itami are the future of the scene because of what they did in NXT....now most of them play bench on WWE with these 68 - 73 ratings...bananas

Billy Gunn's model doesn't have wrist tape and it pisses me off that I will have to use a CAW slot just to make it the way it should have been. Same with Brie. I remember they did that same crap with Christian in SVR 2011.
I'm a little upset they took out my favorite version of Kane, Kane '01, but I'm glad they kept my favorite Undertaker, the Ministry Of Darkness Taker, and I'm especially glad they added the original Undertaker since that version of him is from my favorite era of wrestling, the late 80's/early 90's. I think it's especially awesome how '91, '98 & '99 Taker all have different poses on the character select screen. A minor thing but pretty cool. And of course, just like WWE 2K16, Corporate Kane will never be used in my game.
