I Just discovered your site and just love that you highlight independent patterns companies I have never heard of before. In addition, your delivery is smooth pleasant and enjoyable to listen to while I am stitching. Please keep up the great work.
Hi Gini, so good to see you 🤗. Although I am not a jumpsuit person, it was fun to see your choices, and I love the dress you are wearing. I could see making it in a heavier fabric that still has some drape to it for the winter. Maybe a heavy knit, or terry. It just looks so feminine, flirty, and fun. I wanted to thank you again for your “basic Lagenlook “ suggestions. I purchased one and hope to make a muslin that fits me, then use it to size some of my TG patterns. I hope the pants fit , it would be great to have an elastic waist pant that has the standard more curved crotch back pieces. Then I could use it over the TG patterns to get the waist, hip, and crotch right, for many of her pants patterns. Thank you again 🤗❤️
Hi Judith! I'm not really a jumpsuit person either but I do like the look of them and I've been tempted to give them a go, I just hate the hassle every time you have to use the bathroom 😅I hope you have luck with your basic lagenlook pattern (which one did you get?) It;s a great idea to use them to alter your TG patterns especially the pants. I love the look of her pants but, I too, prefer a back/front crotch. They're just more comfortable to wear. Let me know how you do 🤗
Thank you Carol! My necklace was a Christmas gift from my husband. It's from Lizzie Fortunato www.lizziefortunato.com I'm currently obsessing over her stuff 🤗
Hello from London Ginny, another inspirational video (although I must say I’m not a fan of jumpsuits 🤭) I love your style ideas. I’d never heard of Bitte Kai Rand, but love their style..it’s a bit like OSKA which we do have in the UK. Anyway thanks again for taking the time to do this informative video. Your channel is one of my favourites! ❤
Thank you Christine! I've been avoiding the jumpsuits myself as I have bad memories of them from the 90's 😂but sometimes I think "maybe" if I find the right one I'd go for it
Hi Ginni! Want to say I really appreciate your videos - you seem to be interested in as close as I’ve found to “my” style, and seeing/finding new-to-me patterns is WONDERFUL! 🤩 Thank you!
Hi, really great bunch of pattern inspo there! I loved all your inspiration pictures too. I immediately thought of the Homer & Howell Ingrid Dress when I saw the mint, lacey number. But of course that is a dress with sleeves and not a slip, though it has a similar offset gathererd effect in the front. They also have a jumpsuit similar to a couple of your inspiration jumpsuit/dresses. I've been thinking about the Etta Dress by Merchant and Mills myself recently and I have a Seamwork Dress that is sssoooo similar (I think it is called Reggie from memory) I thought I'd give that a go... eventually 😆. Nice to see you. Am looking forward to your Ponte video. 🙋♀️
YESSSS! Catherine, I totally forgot about Homer and Howells! I think that Reggie dress from Seamwork is almost the same as the Etta. Let me know if you make it up I'd love to hear your thoughts. 🤗
Hi Sally , patterns I suggested for that were Wardrobe by me Savannah shirt dress wardrobebyme.com/products/savannah-shirt-dress?_pos=1&_sid=a28c2b936&_ss=r and Tropical Research Minimalist shirt www.etsy.com/listing/1173646303/minimalist-shirt-sewing-pattern-unisex?click_key=f36065aa6fbbd94f91965acb799c5d6b5f7b9686%3A1173646303&click_sum=9fee5391&ref=shop_home_active_11&crt=1&sts=1 BUT I remembered I have Butterick 6932 in my stash and I think it's a better match (view B) simplicity.com/butterick/b6932 🤗
I can't believe you got that fabric from Elizabeth Suzanne! I've been looking at it for months, was thinking of the orange version, and kept telling myself no. Amazing that I actually managed not to buy it, lol. I did buy fabric yesterday at a thrift store but not for me. Some vintage Britex wrapped lining fabric to sell, some fat quarters for a quilt, and some really high quality crepe to make my sister a pair of pants. Don't go too crazy making jumpsuits/rompers, they are finally losing popularity again. I have that Butterick pattern, I bought it to make the top because I saw it made up....thinking it was Vivmom. It was a while ago but it was really nice, nice enough to make me buy a Butterick pattern, lol! Oh, speaking of ES, did you see 3 new patterns were available? I may get the top but I can't decide if it's exactly like the longer version or if it's different enough to justify buying it. There's a skirt that I'm not certain you'd even need a pattern to make one and a ti under the bust top that Daisy Duke would be proud to wear. Almost forgot! Love the charm necklace. I've been buying tons of charms and small pendants at auction to make some to sell. I'm hoping to incorporate my necklaces I make from tie dye tee shirt "yarn" that I make but may have to use just chain. I'm even using vintage women's watch faces as charms.
I debated about that EZ fabric for ages and now I"m really. glad I got it. Not sure yet what it will be but... I did get her new top pattern I haven't made it up yet but I think It's different enough from the longer one but we will see. I decided against the skirt pattern because, as you say, not sure you need a pattern for that. As for the daisy duke top....not for me 😂 Your necklaces soud AMAZING!!

Love your taste, these are all SO stylish and comfy looking at the same time! x
Thank you Leena 🤗
I love your videos. Thank you❤
Thank you Renee!!!🤗
Wow, that watery print wrap dress from Bitte Kai Rand is gorgeous. I see it's lightly quilted. Love that.
I know right?! I didn't realize until later that it was lightly quilted that makes it even better!
Having lived through the 70s and jump suits. The loo was always an issue. Cute on but when nature call!
I hear you Nan, I have the same memories of jumpsuits in the 90's 😂
Great video! Lots of inspiration. Love your necklace, details on it?
