    Welcome to the world of age! Being kiting with a seat harness since 2001, since I have a bad back. That’s life. But still all is possible, so it won’t limit you! Good to see you back!

    Nice that you did try the seat harness, it saves backs and also ribs. I hope your back stays strong and that you get a lot of awesome sessions in the future!

    yea buddy life is lookin good over there, I messed up my back during snowboarding and rehabilitated it back with kiteboarding, used a seat harness for the first 3 years and then I was ok move on a soft waist harness! like ion rival. It has been 8 years since then, and last year I bought a rebel sls 2023 11m, and the soft harness started bruise me so now I am thinking maybe get a semi hard one like ion apex, I dont know if it will work or I will have pain with it but , if the semi hard one does hurt, I might change the kite maybe get a evo dlab and work things out from there. you can maybe go spear fishing over there and post more kool videos when u cevice with them. You have been the champ in our hearts and have nothing to prove left, it looks like you living the dream so keep enjoying, hope I ll make it to your school one day and learn some tricks from you guys have a great time together, much love.

    Maaan. I have been looping and kiting with seat harness for a while now and honestly - other then not looking cool and maybe some durability issues - i don't really see the reason for the other one... I hope you can show to the world what can be done in a diaper and win all the comps in it :D

    Be careful going too far with free diving, it’s super risky, Jessi Richmond learned free diving and got the bends once, I heard his story on session x podcast. Also you don’t need free diving to be a big wave surfer. Average time spent underwater from a big swell is only 20 seconds. Most people can hold their breath much longer than that, but keeping yourself calm underwater is key and not always easy in big wave conditions. Hope your back heals bro! Stay with the seat harness, even I’ve got one for when I need it

      It’s the Dakine fusion, but I’d be lying if I told you I’ve tried lots of different ones. I just borrowed it from a friend 🥲

    I tried Ion Radar after broken ribs from kiteloop. Well never looked back to waist harness. You can hold much, much power and jumping especially in strong wind is wayyy better!

    Try the ION B2, not so clunky as the normal seat harnesses and feels way better

    Free diving is amazing. How long were you able to hold your breath? How deep did you dive? Best of luck to your complete recovery. And finding new things to up your game.

      @LiamWhaleyChannel  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I’ve dived around 25m. Not sure how long I can hold my breath for but probably around 3 minutes!
      Thanks man I appreciate it, step by step 🙏🏼

    Get out there and have fun with your friends, much more important then any gear. Long term you are going to have work smarter, not harder. I find very strict power lifting the best way to work my core and back. Cardio on the water, power lifting in the gym and some yoga on a rest day. Getting older means you have to work harder to not notice

    • @dajobra
      @dajobra 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@robinfrenzy I had that, but not from kiting. Turns out it was more of a shoulder problem, daily rotator cuff excercises with high reps and low friction did the trick. The idea is that your bicep is compensating for your shoulder, stronger shoulders solves that problem.
