Good effort on this one. And you survived. The sound of rain on the foil could either send you to sleep or be torture depending on your outlook. Best wishes on the next. Always love a pile of leaves (dry).

In an emergency it beats getting hypothermia but doesn't offer excess comfort. Did you get sweat wet inside the sack?

It’s definitely a life saver if caught out with nothing else. It was a bit moist in the bag but not too bad.

Result. I picked 2 of those tents up off of ebay years back and they just live in the car, might have a play myself. Was that a dakota fire pit or just a fire in a hole?

Give them a go. Noisy as hell but would do the job of keeping you alive. Dakota fire pit in the future. That was just me playing with another idea.
