- I should explain that Frog Fractions was an old browser game in the style of java browser games. But it surprises you by combining a bunch of different games and weirdness. But it is all disguised behind what looks like a silly frog grabs insects with it's tongue game. But assuming you find the apples at the bottom of the pond you can explore the game fully in all it's weirdness. None of it relates to fractions either. Inscryption has transformed from a card battler to some sort of RPG from the looks of it.

L ol, yeah. Anyone who has played Inscryption knew that was a lie, but we are very happy for him to learn how deep the strategy can be.
@@aldrea6506 If only he would actually have learned any of that. Instead, he fumbled his way ass-first through the finish line. I have low expectations for him through the rest of the game.

@@ApocolypseChild Unfortunately, it won't get any harder. If you don't delve into the mystery, you'll probably stop playing quickly. It's gameplay core is just too simple to be challenging. The AI is poor and the new mechanics are repetitive. Not to mention the abysmal balance which is brilliantly illustrated by the fact that francis could win by playing only squirrels.
How many people were facepalming at the fact that Francis had an instant kill creature in his hand against the moon and didn't play it? XD

To begin with yes, however when looking through the hand I saw it had red eyes. Not having played the game, I believe that would be significant and might be an indicator that the death touch skill of the long elk would not have worked. Pure speculation on my end though

Death Touch doesn't work on non-creature cards, IIRC, like boulders, trees, or the Moon.
IIRC the moon is specifically immune to instant kills, just like boulders. You'd need a wipe to wipe it's sigils if you wanted an instakill...
EDIT: I'm probably thinking of Kaycees Mod. Core game leshy is pretty weak.
I love the fact that you said this was going to be a nice, small and easy side game to dyson sphere program. How the turns have tabled haven't they xD
I commented on the first video wondering aloud how long it would take for the cozy little side game to take over his streams lol.
@@thevilifyingforce The moment he said "I'm playing badly and I don't like that." was the point I knew he was going to be consumed by the game. I love watching someone who really enjoys the games he is playing rather than just to please his audience. Add to that, that he also does a great job of making sure we enjoy the games too.
The boss battle is so much better with music D:

Kinda shocked you never realized that Stinkbug was an auto win, the moon only had 1 attack, so reducing it's attack by 1 means it would do nothing!
I.... never knew that one! I used the snakes death strike to kill the moon though
I'm glad that you reference Frog Fractions here because I have, as a joke only I use, described games that massively subvert expectations as "froglikes" (for extra effect, pronounce as "froguelikes") and I am glad to see someone else make that connection.

29:30 Bell Ringer makes its attack dependent on where you play it in relation to the bell. If you'd played it in Lane 2, the other lane you opened, it would have had 3 attack. If you'd played it in Lane 1, right next to the bell, 4 attack. Very powerful card, which is why the rules for it are blacked out!
Ha! I've 100%'d this and never quite figured out how the bell worked!

That's what that stupid card does? I know there's another one with the Slipher effect, (bigger hand = more power) but I couldn't figure out what that card was supposed to do.

For the GPS, the coordinates don't need to have many digits to be exact. It's like the decimal system, 10 is as exact as 10.123456. They are just different numbers at a different position. GPS 0/0 is exactly a point somewhere south of the left hump of africa.
Also, in the video it showed the card he found the coordinates on with lots more digits!
"10" could mean 10.??????, so it does not necessarily have the same precision as 10.12345 or 10.00000. But the card did have lots of "digits", so they were precise coords.
@@MrTomyCJ @scottbrewer474 My bad I didn't see the coordinates had more digits, but nevertheless the point is still valid. 10 can not mean 10.????. 10 is 10. Well I mean to be honest 9.999repeating is also 10 but that's another topic.
If you have a double 10.11111 and convert it to integer you get 10. But that is still 10 because during the conversion you lost precision and got a different number basically same as rounding down.
Doing that fight without the music was criminal. Now that you have a better idea what the game actually is, will you turn it back on?
Am I the only one who now wants FJ to start a second channel, "Francis John Reacts?" Listening to him mock and react to the in-game video story was the most entertaining part of my week so far!
I wish to see Francis trying to optimalize Detroit Become human or any other story driven game xD

Also, there are so many hidden mechanics in this game it's insane. The only hints you get is what some of the characters say or a "hidden meaning" of a card name.
Been a while since i had this much fun uncovering all the secrets in a game.

Also, the one with the bell has attack based on how close it is to the bell. You played it in the spot where it had 1 attack, but all the way to the left, it has 4
40:00 yeah, you can feel the IT background, honestly that hurt pretty bad, add to that remembering having used floppy disks... I feel old now lol

I am surprised to see you play this game, but it's still great seeing more play this. It looks like you had these pre-recorded so whatever people had told you before is now null-and-void from here on. There isn't much to say other than echoing another comment from last video: PLEASE TURN ON THE MUSIC, the music is absolute for the experience and without it the game becomes empty and dead. Other than that, Keep an eye for secrets like before, some will help you, and some expand the story within this game (if you're interested to learn more).
Taking 2 turns of free damage sounds like a bad idea to me.

The coordinates shown at @37:53 are in a lake South from Boundary Bay Airport (CZBB) in British Columbia, Canada. Likely an approximation, but the scenery on this guy's video does look like what you would see around the region.

The guy from videos doesn't know how to handle things with care. He handles cards with his bare hands and slides them across bare wood table, shovels a wood box and then the open floppy disc covered in dirt... Philistine I tell you!
Pretty sure that the "mana", for want of a better description, is based on the four Scribes.
You've seen the Blood of the first Scribe that you have already beaten, the Bones seem to be the mana of the Undead Scribe, the Blue Card one would probably be the mana for the Tech Scribe.
It's likely that each scribe uses two of the four kinds I would guess
It's strange though how they want you to beat Leashy again, after just beating him... Very odd.

Also: disabling the music was a bad decision, it really helps setting the mood
When I played this, there was one card that carried me in this section Ouroboros, but I don't think FJ has seen that yet.
In this section I'd call act 2 even though it's the first act of new game button....
The is an infinite combo with the Skelton guy that makes skeletons for 1 bone and the character that gives you an extra bone for each death. There's a couple other ways to get infinite bones but I don't remember them.
Cant tell if francis is saying worker ant, or workaround. But at this point im just gonna call the squirrel ant tactic the francis workaround 😂

Not gonna lie, my interest in the game plummeted when I saw the post-endgame content
This is very far from "post-endgame". You only saw the first act of the story.
It's not post game, it's the halfway point. At this point one should've realized this game's story driven
It's kind of a shame that FJ beat Act 1 so quickly. I spent dozens of attempts, learning many cards and playstyles, before my first win.
Oh well, there's always Kacyees Mod. If FJ get's hooked on that, I don't seem him quitting until he beats it with ALL challenges enabled. THAT isn't something that can be done with luck alone. I'd put it at about the same difficulty as Ascension 20 from Slay The Spire, depending on how good or bad the starter deck is.
Act 2 is probably going to go a little slow at first until FJ finds the right cards. I don't think he's even met the OP cards for Act II yet, so he doesn't even know to look for them, and even if he sees them, the best abilities are hidden mechanics that don't show up on tooltips.
Yo Francis. After vigorously watching just about anything youve posted, ive lost interest as of late. Dunno why, havent followed the last rimworld playthru. Stopped when you decided to make the same base, although efficient its very boring. The game itself is fun, but ill see that when i play it. Dunno if its just me, you have a better view of your views. Imho you need something, something else... while writing; the other week when you looked at your old base, you said along the lines of 'wtf was i thinking'. I remember that you were thinking back then that even though you shouldnt, since you could, you will !. Maybe thats missing, things dont always have to be the most efficient. Elaborate is way more fun... Maybe thats just me. I watch old crap gamers cause theyre fun, not good. Jingles and Neebs mostly. Anyway, my 2 cents. As always, still love ya, wont go anywhere ;)
