Its truly a foundational framework. A must for any UXer
This is a masterclass! Great work. I think you can even use this to structure your thinking on how you speak to stakeholders regarding interviews and so on.. I enjoyed this . thank you.
What about diversity?
He mentions it on the Accessible Factor
Hey, as covered in the video: Accessible should in today's term be reworded as Inclussive, which would better reflect the wider range of considerations in UX.
Do you think there is racial gate keeping in the field for black people?
Can you elaborate on that?
@@keywolf23 Is it harder for black people ( especially men ) to land a UX role vs other races? Looking at the statistics/ demographic for UX Designers it would seem like there is heavy gate keeping.
Tough one. I can't say there aren't any as there are people (individuals) with prejudices. This is also highly depended on where... specific regions, industries, even companies. I saw your other comment on getting Darren on the podcast, I think he would be better to answer this. At least when it comes to US market. If it comes to EU/UK I do believe fair hiring practices are taken seriously, but again there could be places or individuals who would gatekeep for whatever reason or whichever group of people
