well remembered. This was before the Aristocrats, Guthrie came along a year or so later and added an even higher skill set and maturity and subtlety. All the same this was pretty damn good. All 3 were part of Joe Satriani's touring band around this time. This was my initial suggestion so really pleased it got to a reaction. nice reaction guys.
@@wayneh.191 Cheers Wayne. Thought you might like it with the Zappa connection 🙂 Have you seen the Keneally ones at The Baked Potato from around 2006, some great stuff there.
Cool. I first got into Mike Keneally about 2016. He has a huge and varied discography of solo and collaborative albums, plus involvement in several different bands. He’s one of those people who seem to have an endless stream of creativity. I think the title is a nod to “Nonkertompf,” an album long Keneally composition.
Bassist Bryan Beller and drummer Marco Minnemann were supposed to play a NAMM show with guitarist Greg Howe. Howe got sick, so they got Guthrie Govan to fill in - and they gelled so well the Aristocrats were formed.
Bone up?! They wish. 🤞🏼😊💀❤️✨️🕊 Energizing, exhilarating, no question. A kick in the seat of the pants on a Saturday morning. Maybe I'll make something of the day after all. 🤷🏽🤔😮💨🤪
That's one end of the spectrum. Might I suggest Mr. Keneally's project with Andy Partridge from XTC for a whole different vibe. :) WIng Beat Fantastic. Andy & Mike wrote the songs together. The closest thing to another XTC album as we're likely to get. th-cam.com/video/Sug4hC3Ysb0/w-d-xo.html (I'm Raining Here Inside - Songwriters: Michael Joseph Keneally, Andrew John Partridge.
