I’m a marine from Eastern Kentucky more specifically Leslie County, KY. With 3 and a half long years left til I’m done w the marine corps these videos remind me what I have waiting for me. I grew up going to Hyden, Harlan, Pineville, and Middlesboro quite regularly as I grew up right between them. Can’t wait to be back permanently!
Wishing you a safe return home. It's hard to explain to an outsider how much these mountains are a part of us and how much we miss them when we're gone. Thank you for your service and God bless!
Pineville seems alive and well. I love seeing small town America. Congratulations Willie ! We can always count on our Kentucky Konnection for top rate entertainment and interesting food reviews. Thanks Coyotes.
Y'all I am having to play catch up on the videos. I have been spending so much time with my youngest daughter and my youngest grandbaby. I give glory to Father God for Willie's healing...praise God hallelujah! That is such wonderful news. I love that little town. Such a beautiful place. Such a tragic story about the deputy and his K9. My heart goes out to his family. Debbie....lol...I can see you red faced by his wolf man Jack impression...😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I loved wolf man jack! There has never been any show to me that has ever beat the midnight special! Any one who was in the Casey Kasem top 40 charts would perform on the midnight special. You can watch them free on TH-cam now. Love it! Brings back a lot of memories for me. God bless y'all.. moving to the next video. Binge watching...lol
Love your videos so much , they make me happy.. brings back memories when I was a child and lived in Kentucky.. As i told you before I live in Oregon now,, Keep them coming!! God bless you both, be safe out there.
Great video Coyote's! Awesome news about Willie! Great to hear that! I've always loved going to Pineville! I got lost on a trail up at Chained Rock a few years ago, it didn't take me where I thought it would! Thanks for sharing this video! That train sure is a beautiful sound!
So glad to hear the good news about Willie. Thanks for another great video. Such a beautiful place. I was waiting on that Bell county deputy to get you for jaywalking LOL.
When you're videoing sometimes you forget where you're at and I didn't realize that I had crossed in the middle of the street right behind a cop, till it was too late! I thought well I know what I'm going to title this video, "the coyote gets a ticket in Pineville"😆🤣

Great video Coyote. Haven't been to Pineville in a while. My parents used to eat at McDonalds there. Oh yes. I know you were raised in Harlan. I know who the bootlegger was who you mentioned in Harlan. MB. My cousins in Evarts used to go there a lot. I'm a Harlan native even though I don't live there now.
Drive through bootleggers haha..... i knew a lady that had one in North Corbin.. On one visit she asked me my age.. I answered neither one of us is suppose to be here....... such memories
Pineville is 15 minutes from barbourville and Union college in One direction and about 20 minutes from Harrogate Tennessee and Lincoln memorial University in the other direction
Was the officer who was killed any relation to UK hoops star Larry Pursiful? I noticed a second L at the end of his name so possibly not related. I belive the basketball player's family was from Four Mile which is just a hop, skip and a jump up 25E.
Dude wasn’t rammed I was in prison with the guy that was driving and he was just a scared kid (17 I think at the time) and he told me he tried to get out the way but was going too fast and didn’t react fast enough where it was in the middle of a curve
That's incredibly sad! I've seen that curve many times and I can see where it would be really hard to hold it at a high rate of speed. Makes you wonder about the wisdom of the KSP initiating a high-speed pursuit on one of the most dangerous roads in the state over a stolen tank of gas.
Very true, nonsense all of it was. According to the TV news and newspaper reports the deputy's girlfriend was pregnant at the time of his death like you said and his wife had a very young child he never got to watch grow up either, but evidently the girlfriend and the wife agreed that it was the KSP's fault ultimately as they joined together in a lawsuit against the KSP for wrongful death. this is all from reports on WBIR TV in Knoxville Tennessee WYMT TV in hazard Kentucky and Bell county and Harlan county newspapers. Ultimately I have to agree with his wife and girlfriend, it looks like the KSP was as much responsible as the two young boys they were chasing.
Another wonderful video. The 17 year old teenage driver of the car that struck Deputy Pursifull and his canine partner, King, is still in prison. His parole eligibility date is Jan 2, 2025. He is now 31.
My cousin actually went to juvie when he was around thirteen and he met him and he told him don't end up like him and that is actually one of the best things I've heard In my life

That's right, MB. A Harlan county legend!
@@IgnitedCoyote She sure was. I think she died at the nursing home in Harlan. Lived to be in her 90’s.

My wife cracked up when she read what you said the bootlegger. Thanks!
Can you make a video from Pineville to the gap 25 e?
I wonder what sort of jobs are available there? Are there any nearby colleges that one could be a professor?

I don't know if he is but it's possible. Maybe someone who knows will help us out and comment on it.

Yeah just a scared kid that had never been in trouble ruining his life and taking Sean’s from a couple bad choices

Thanks so much, I wondered what became of him. 31 wouldn't that put him right around the age of the deputy when he killed him.
