I'm still afraid that Tsuburaya Productions wouldn't be careful with giving licenses of Ultraman to different companies but I believe they are more careful but free with it. For now, I really do want to see more future Ultraman projects soon. Also, good video with the video.
From what I've heard recently, they have been very careful with who they have been giving the licenses too. Like their not whoring out the licenses to anyone that breathes.
@@too_much_yosh7618 that makes a lot more sense but I believe they have a good department that focuses on choosing the best companies to offer their IPs to them.
Toru Narita, Ultraman's original designer, says that the designs of these three figures are more Ultraman-like than Tsuburaya Productions. I respect Toru Narita's opinion. And I agree.
Great video! Ultraman Millennium was something I was curious about for a while cause hes popped up in searches from time to time but i never bothered to read about him
Just stumbled onto your channel. Pretty nice videos. You don't see much Ultraman review stuff out there. I like the summed up review here about the company's troubles with other countries and their lack of copyright laws to protect them. I am currently rewatching Q right now. Would love to see if you have any thoughts on that series or some of it's monsters. My fav from that series has to be Namegon. Just love the idea of it being an alien weapon from Mars and his design is fun :)
I have an update, it seems Chaiyo's still running with their activities along with their agents, like UM Corporation & Ultramega (Not the Ultramega comics by Image Comics). To this day, even after Bluearc gets defeated. I heard some bad news... Alpha Audley group of China has been working together with UM Corporation & Ultramega for a reason, either for making ultraman merch, and possibly... Making bootleg ultraman shows/movies in a similar manner to Bluearc... This is bad news... I hope Tsuburaya & SCLA could sue them quick
Chaiyo is run by a foreign version of who is to Tsuburaya that Ken Penders is to Sega. He worked on a project with them once, and because of that tried to claim ownership over the entirety of an ip that he blatantly didn't own, and tried merchandising said ip through some of the ugliest original content for Ultraman you could imagine(just none of them got it on ever) However Tsuburaya did win and claim full ownership over Ultraman, whilest Penders won over Sega and Archie, and to this day throws hissy fits on Twitter because no one likes his official Sonic The Hedgehog fanfiction.
Damn, didn't know there's a drama between Sega and Archie and Ken Penders. How long will it take for him to finally give up on Sonic, and maybe bring it back to it's rightful owners since nobody like his works after all the things Ken did?

Hey, are you gonna be making more videos in the future, you’ve kinda been gone for a while. I like the content you make and I hope you continue creating!
The evil male seiyuu known it’s responsible for long standing copyright conflict with Toei Company in Scandinavia, Baltics, Iceland, French-speaking Canada, Portugal, Greece, Netherlands, Israel, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, and Ukraine since April of 1986.
8:22 I think it’s because Will Smith said he liked Ultraman.
I gotta say, the Chaiyo stuff would have been cool if Sompote simply asked or co-operated with Tsuburaya.
I don't like how i recognize that "parody"
you and me both xD

How fun, it's not often you find a video talking about this side of the Ultra Series history

I hate to say it, but the knockoff 'Ultraman' characters don't look much different from the genuine article.
