SupermanBB ha ha ha I thought the same thing. The junglas in the hands of a manly man would have smashed that competition! I LOVE mine. It does everything so good, especially any form of heavy chopping use.

Really enjoyed it, it turned out how I expected it would. I think the blades Jaren and Mark chose were much more optimal for this type of thing.

That's a tough course, holy moly!
That looked fun. It is hard with production fixed blades to find a knife with good mass for the heavy cutting while still having a fine sharp edge for the more delicate stuff. I have an Ontario SP-10 that I spent a few hours convexing and thinning out.
This was a lot fun...if this challenge is revisited...I would love to see the Buck hoodlum compete!
great video, this should be your format for the rest of the competitions (maybe do it with other TH-cam channels so that you can show off as more knives.

Great video guys, I was impressed with how fast the Cold steel trail master was and also the great obstacle course. I think that the next competition you guys should do is Competition: Tomahawks, that would be a cool video and you guys would have experience since you did the axe and bushcraft competition.

Not the biggest cold steel fan but those were pretty impressive. Really chewed up that 2x4.
Editing definitely made the runs seem closer than the true totals lol. Awesome contest
Andrew A Yeah watching someone wack at a 2x4 for a couple of minutes doesn't make for the best tension.
Precision vs Brute Strength. Precision took it.
1st guy failed with the apple, and mocked for it, but was the only one to take the grape out, which in my opinion was the hardest obstacle in terms of accurcy, as for the rest he did average. A bit of less power used their in comparison to the 3 other guys, but he made up for it with being able to follow through with everything decently.
2nd guy was the only guy to cut the apple clean in half, but failed on the grape, so he did opposite of his partner. His slices were the most clean, and over all performance was better in one area then the other. 2x4 cut was alright. Showing a bit more power in his game. Probably the most balanced competitor of the bunch.
3rd guy was a bit more crude, almost failing at everything else, but ironically did the best in the 2x4 chop.
4th guy let his frusteration get the best of him, sacrificing precision in favor for brute force. He had potential. Almost nothing seemed to go right for him. But imo he did the best on the water bottles, and showed heart and perseverance and aggression on the 2x4. He too did pretty well. Sloppy, but well.
The last 2 guys man... just nothing seemed to go right for them. Possibly karma for underestimating their rivals.
