Always a joy to listen to such common sense commentary............I have followed some of his basic principles and happy to hold through the turmoil and have been lucky to have enjoyed several 10-baggers thanks to the patience and logic Rick preaches. Better to have a position than not, if you believe the story. If not go somewhere else.

25:20 you don't have to have three times higher demand for precious metals to revert to mean, price will also go up to revert to mean... It will be a combination of both to get to the 3x.. But it will probably exceed the mean this time and go to a much higher percentage than 1.5%...
I actually agree, but I don't need to make aggressive forecasts. The point of the statement was that demand could triple, with no out of the ordinary circumstance

If I hear nothing else from this video, I'm glad I heard at least that.
My question is how long do you maintain equity financing vz. debt financing. Many of the juniors maintain equity financing to the detriment of return to the shareholders---- some have several profitable operations but use treasury shares to maintain financing diluting the stock price. This bugs me a lot.

i've enjoyed watching scores of Rick's interviews and everyone has been a delight, but this is a treasure. I love the insight at the end about the smugness of the CEO as a reveal. Would Rick classify Amir Adnani as a lifestyle company executive? Since he mentioned lifestyle companies in the value trap section.
Amir is a very hard worker, hence his low cost of capital. Rather than a value trap, the risk with Amir is that his stocks get ahead of themselves.

Rick said a value trap is a company run by a "has been" that has been successful in their youth but uninterested in lowering cost of capital and moving their assets on and who didn't have the drive or energy to build companies anymore. Sounds like he might be talking about Rob McEwen ?
