  • Well it's that time of year, Australian bass season is open again, finally.
I headed out to a small creek to have a crack for bass the first time this season, I had an early morning fish, then sat out of the sun for lunch (32 degrees in the shade) till it cooled for the afternoon session. The fishing was incredible with plenty of Aussie bass smashing the Zman finesse frogs. ‪@tackletacticstv7687‬
It was one of those magic bass session you don't forget about in a hurry.

I will be heading up to Coffs from central coast in a couple weeks for my kids sporting competitions, hopefully it’s firing like that somewhere I can have a fish from shore for them. Any pointers where to start for an out of Towner who respects the waterways and the fish? Strictly catch and release.

Hi Kane, google maps is your best friend, virtually every creek/river around here has bass in them once you get up past where its tidal and the waters fresh. Generally once your west of the highway. I dont want to name exact locations on here, sorry but it might upset some people. If you do a google search for bass fishing in this area then look at the maps to see where you can get to on foot Im sure you'll hook into a few. Thanks for watching mate, might see you around.
