I have never known this about what you were saying, I'm raised in Arbroath yet I have learned something new. This was very interesting to hear and watch.
The bangs you were hearing is a trigger to scare away birds from eating the crops. Also, we locals call it “hang man trees” as allegedly, they used to hang witches and smugglers there.
Things like having a favorite bench I think it is something us Explorers do as my own personal favorite is the one that you come to when wander along the back of Newtyle Church and on to what I believe was old the Railway Line route. There is an Amazing view from the Bench out over the Fields and over Hills as far as the eye can see.
🤣🤣yes indeed. I’ve done the Newtyle walk a few times but can’t remember seeing the bench. Need to double check next time I’m back. Cheers for watching.
Pretty sure you have this one incorrect, I have always heard the story of hangings but never this one. The pipers cave is along the cliffs not Dickmontlaw .
😅😅 explanation : there are people who arrived before you sitting g in the cave plus dog, they opened 3 cans of beer hence the cracking g sound amplified by cave walls 😊😊
I thought the sound was a air rifle, but it was to loud, definitely something to scare the birds, once again I think you & jag visit at night in darkness, that would be interesting
when travelling back to Arbroath the sight of these trees on the distant horizon made me feel happy to be home
Ha ha , yes indeed . You can see them from miles around.
Great view. Interesting video bro.
Cheers man

Maybe I should go back on Halloween and see what happens 👻. Thanks for watching.
