Raj! Fristly, amazing explanation. I was searching for material to understand cost analysis between lambda vs EKS(knative specifically). But after listning to your video now I am questioning myself if knative is the right fit for me. Can I just stick with EKS using hpa instead since our use case is streaming kafka traffic hitting lambda currently which is medium to high volume(not in-frequent burst traffic). So at any point of time our current lambda functions are always busy. just that during off peak hours the requests goes down.
Yes, you are right some software engineers are just stupid and despise other technologies which they have no experience with without any actual logical reason. I personally think that they comprise of 80% of the software engineers which is really BAD.
