I think bro it's not luck but your hardwork and action Oriented nature to work and actually take action rather than thinking about ideas and it just inspires me to try harder and get into MIT
Hi, i have 3 questions towards college applications since i am in 9th grade and an aspiring computer scientist 1) ideally how many coding languages should i know? is it better to know one language very well, or 2 languages to a reasonable extent for versatillity? Or should i just take CS50 as the basics and based on what i want to do, example machine learning, go more deep into one of the languages in cs50 in terms of machine learning to make a machine learning project. 2) when doing projects such as nivaro, and technological projects using mainly data analysis and ai, if you want to do research and extracirriculars should you have a main focus on things such as data analysis and ai, to deepen them within the application, or based on your extracirriculars go into many more fields? 3) generally should you focus on a few handful of topics in your extracirriculars, or be very broad and choose many different ones, such as acoustics, machine learning, etc.
How did you make so much time for extracurriculars, do well in them, and maintain a high gpa. I barely have a 3.9 in freshman year, I’m only in soccer, asb, robotics and an internship, please help.
@@noteventrying27 thanks, but right now I just don’t see myself being able to get an acceptance from a top college because places like MIT have many applicants with important awards and I don’t know if I can keep up with them in the long run, but I also want to create a spike while keeping my extracurriculars and grades at an amazing level. I go to a private school and I’m ranked 1/83 but there’s a lot of competition and I’m getting scared that I won’t be able to get a chance against any award winners or students with better opportunities
@@GoatEditz149i am in my freshman year now I did a research project with an international team on education. And possibility it will help the world. I don't think gpa matters that much in freshman year
@@darkjoker361 how did you get these opportunities? I’m planning to do a research project next year but I don’t know how I can find a good research team
How did you manage to maintain 4.0 UW gpa (or all As) and pursue these activities alongside. In my case, I would sit until midnight everyday just working on my school work and projects.

thank you so much for this. you seem like a smart, hardworking and genuine person. i hope you do well at mit
This is awesome! Any chance we can get more videos like this? Also if you had to pick one, what extracurricular would you say helped you out the most?
