Project: Replacing floor drain cover (Bathroom 1)

Bathroom 1 is mom's bathroom. I think I got the hang of replacing the floor drain cover. I need to improve on few things, so that I can work faster on these things.

Did you cement? My cover doesnt seem to stick to cement

Yes, I use portland cement.

Why u want to change the drain cover.

for two reasons:
1. we've noticed insects and small centipedes in the bathroom (which looked like they entered from the drain),
2. the plastic cover had started to breakdown.
