Get a golden retriever and honestly, you won't never ever regret it! I know that they are big dogs, but they are as much cuddly and sleepy as pugs. Of course they enjoy long adventures walks at hilla or forest but they will be totally okey with same walking time as pugs. Golden love to be outside and you have a garden so it would love to be there. They are with huge heart and love their family more than everything. Fransesca Machand I have a Labrador and lets face is they're practically the same as golden retriever and I couldn't agree more. Mines gets walked half an hour a day, gets some time to run about in the garden then comes in and just runs about playing with his toys and has little sleeps inbetween. But they are the most loving, affectionate dogs. As I'm sure probably a lot of dogs are but I just feel like there's something special about them. My lab is my baby 😂❤️

I genuinely didn't think I would care about my boyfriend knowing that I was pooping, but the first time I stayed at his place for a week, my body was like, nope! You are not going to poop. I didn't poop for 6 DAYS, I honestly started to look a little pregnant with my own poop. I guess my subconscious was nervous about pooping near him, and after the 6 days I was actually nervous, so I did the shower trick. Problem was, I had 6 full days of poop in me, so when I went, I clogged the toilet. So I took my shower, then came out and flushed again, hoping he wouldn't notice, but it still didn't go down. He has another toilet with a broken shower closer to his room, so I thought he would go in there, so I left it and thought I would come back and flush it again later. Then I think he had to poop, so he went to the clogged toilet one and I was prepared to be fully mortified, but I swear like, my guardian angel was looking out for me or something because it had magically flushed itself before he got there. So yeah, that was the inspiring story of my first poop at my boyfriend's place lmao. Hopefully only a few people see this and it makes them smile because I was mortified hahaha
Nala would love another dog, French Bulldogs and Pugs are really good at adapting to new dogs. Knowing her nature she may be a little jealous at first but she'll adjust and enjoy the company I'm sure.

I have 2 dogs, one is 7 and one is almost 3 .. when I got the 3 year old as a puppy my other dog didn't like her much and that's totally normal.. and it took a couple weeks for her to realize this new puppy wasn't going anywhere but after that she loved having a buddy to play with and now their best friends and I absolutely love seeing them interact and just having 2 dogs around ..the most important thing when having multiple dogs, in my opinion, is just making sure you let them know you love them both, make sure you aren't always pushing one off to the side and petting the other and if you're petting one and the other comes over don't let them push the other away.. as long as they both feel you're their person, that you aren't going to let the other shove them away or take their treats, toys, or food then they will both be happy and so will you ! and if their is some jealousy just make sure you correct it right away, don;t let either of them get away with being snippy with the other.. and to answer your other question, no I don't think it will change Nala forever if you got another dog, I think she would love it.... and as far as Zoe's worries about the constant noise and excitement goes, when 2 dogs live together all the time they learn to have lots of relaxed time together as well as the play times, because it isn't a novelty anymore once they have been there for awhile .. anywho hope you see this and hope it helps !! I would love to see you guys get another dog :)

A beauty TH-camr, Jaclyn Hill, got a puppy earlier this year and she already had a dog. They're both shih tzus. At first, the older dog was REALLY upset. Jaclyn actually thought she was going to have to give the puppy to someone else. But after a week or so, the older dog was totally fine and now they're BFFs. You just have to introduce the 2 dogs gradually.

When we got our second dog it made life so much easier like when u leave them on their own they just play with each other and it took 1-2 weeks for them to get used to each other btw I have two miniature sausage dogs
I've been married for almost 16 years(!!!!) I think the funny conversations in bed are my favorites. We have 2 dogs, and we're considering a third because our 13-1/2-year-old dog won't be around a lot longer. Yes, having a second dog changes things, but not for the worst. It's like adding another kid. Everyone adjusts. But the first dog's personality won't change. Nala would just get to play with another dog regularly. And she'd appreciate having a friend when you left the house. And adult dogs do really well with puppies. My adult dogs turn into mommies when we get a puppy.
No Beauty Guru I've only been with my husband 2 years and a couple of months and have to agree about the bed conversations! Whenever we have days off we'd rather stay in bed with each other lol. And you're lucky. I have an adopted 11 year old shih tzu and she HATES other dogs or animals in general. We got a kitten recently and she became more territorial and needy than usual. She actually barks the second she doesn't see either of us. So no other pets for us for a while :/
I have two miniature schnauzers and have had them since they where 8 weeks, they are know 5 years old. They have been together since day one. Having two small dogs is the best and they support each other and say together all the time. If we go out for they day it's nice because they stay at home together and we know there not lonely. Miniature schnauzers and the best well behaved soppy harmless dogs you could ever find.
It is so nice to see people take the consideration of the animal before getting it. Knowing not to get a big dog because it wouldn't fit your lifestyle or even Nala's just makes me happy. I'm glad some people know owning animals is a lot of work and consider their needss.
I have three dogs and I think at first Nala would be a little confused and disappointed but after awhile she will get use to it, she may not like it at first, but after awhile she will get use to it and before you introduce Nala to the new dog make sure you take her for a walk or play with her to make her a little tired so when she meets the new dog she isn't riled up and slowly introduce her to the new dog
That's exactly what happened with my dogs. At first he was jealous but now they can live without each other and it's been like 8 months since I got my new dog.

I have two dogs that are both Maltese Shitzu's and when we got our second pup, our slightly older dog was definitely jealous. It is similar to having a second child in the sense that the older one would want all the attention back. Instead of trying to get attention from us, the older dog actually sat alone and drooled (it's a stress thing) and avoided all contact from us because she was so, super jealous. Eventually she realised that she liked the new pup and was almost like a mother to her. It was super sweet. They have loved each other ever since.❤ I'm sure if you got another pug, Nala would soon warm up to the new family member.
Super rare that dogs get like depressed or saddened by another dogs just know that it might take time before nala gets used to another dog. So in the beginning it might seem like the wrong thing to do but in the long run she's gonna love it. Some dogs adjust faster than other keep that in mind! Nala might not have any problems with a buddy, who knows! Worth a try in my opinion. Dogs are flock animals so either way it'll work out sooner or later because they will see each other as family even tho they may not love each other straight from the get go!
LissasJuicebox it happens though I have a cocker and I got a sprocket and my cocker completely turned, she was so unpredictable and aggressive even though it was so completely out of her nature, never would of thought that it would happen but yeah 😬
Me and my love are about to hit the nine year mark and pretty much nothing is off limits now! Less than a year for the farting barrier and about 6 years for pooping! 🙄
When my dog was one, my husband and I adopted a puppy that needed a home. The oldest is a lab/dachshund and we got a baby chihuahua/shihtzu. She treated the pup as if he were her own and took care of him. Now they're 3 and 2 years old, and don't fight for our attention nor did it change the her personality either. Getting a second baby was the best decision we ever made and we love them both more than anything! It's all about balancing the amount of attention you give each dog. Hope this helps!
We introduced a pug cross jack russell to our labrador and they adjusted fine. The pug is my brothers dog but we've now kept him because we know it would break out labs heart to separate the two of them. Especially if you get a puppy, as they would grow up and learn who the alpha dog is in the house, if you know what I mean. I think they would be fine, especially since Nala spent so much time with Buzz so she knows how to interact with other dogs. The only thing I can say is try not to change your normal routine too much if you get another dog because that could be the only thing that upsets her.
Also some tips would be to train the dogs together so they know that they're both equal and getting the same attention and introduce them slowly, otherwise it could just be a bit too full on.
I think Nala would like the company of another as she is always happy around other dogs and I would consider getting a French Bulldog or a English bulldog as they are both loving dogs and have similar personalities to Nala and do not need a lot of walking. And congratulations on your 4 year anniversary🎉
I have two dogs one Labrador and a springer. When we got out first dog we were worried about how are second dog would react in a jealous or sad way but if anything your original dog gets more attention and their personality shines through and you will never imagine them apart. I would say having 2 different breeds may be better so they are not to similar but I would recommend it. Like so Alfie can see !!xxx

I have 2 dogs, one is 7 and one is almost 3 .. when I got the 3 year old as a puppy my other dog didn't like her much and that's totally normal.. and it took a couple weeks for her to realize this new puppy wasn't going anywhere but after that she loved having a buddy to play with and now their best friends and I absolutely love seeing them interact and just having 2 dogs around ..the most important thing when having multiple dogs, in my opinion, is just making sure you let them know you love them both, make sure you aren't always pushing one off to the side and petting the other and if you're petting one and the other comes over don't let them push the other away.. as long as they both feel you're their person, that you aren't going to let the other shove them away or take their treats, toys, or food then they will both be happy and so will you ! and if their is some jealousy just make sure you correct it right away, don;t let either of them get away with being snippy with the other.. and to answer your other question, no I don't think it will change Nala forever if you got another dog, I think she would love it.... and as far as Zoe's worries about the constant noise and excitement goes, when 2 dogs live together all the time they learn to have lots of relaxed time together as well as the play times, because it isn't a novelty anymore once they have been there for awhile .. anywho hope you see this and hope it helps !! I would love to see you guys get another dog :)

Exactly the same with ours, we have a 8 year old ridgeback and got a Lab puppy. The ridgeback wasn't keen at first, took around 3-4 weeks to settle.

A beauty TH-camr, Jaclyn Hill, got a puppy earlier this year and she already had a dog. They're both shih tzus. At first, the older dog was REALLY upset. Jaclyn actually thought she was going to have to give the puppy to someone else. But after a week or so, the older dog was totally fine and now they're BFFs. You just have to introduce the 2 dogs gradually.

I've been married for almost 16 years(!!!!) I think the funny conversations in bed are my favorites.
We have 2 dogs, and we're considering a third because our 13-1/2-year-old dog won't be around a lot longer. Yes, having a second dog changes things, but not for the worst. It's like adding another kid. Everyone adjusts. But the first dog's personality won't change. Nala would just get to play with another dog regularly. And she'd appreciate having a friend when you left the house. And adult dogs do really well with puppies. My adult dogs turn into mommies when we get a puppy.
No Beauty Guru I've only been with my husband 2 years and a couple of months and have to agree about the bed conversations! Whenever we have days off we'd rather stay in bed with each other lol. And you're lucky. I have an adopted 11 year old shih tzu and she HATES other dogs or animals in general. We got a kitten recently and she became more territorial and needy than usual. She actually barks the second she doesn't see either of us. So no other pets for us for a while :/
I have two miniature schnauzers and have had them since they where 8 weeks, they are know 5 years old. They have been together since day one. Having two small dogs is the best and they support each other and say together all the time. If we go out for they day it's nice because they stay at home together and we know there not lonely. Miniature schnauzers and the best well behaved soppy harmless dogs you could ever find.

It is so nice to see people take the consideration of the animal before getting it. Knowing not to get a big dog because it wouldn't fit your lifestyle or even Nala's just makes me happy. I'm glad some people know owning animals is a lot of work and consider their needss.

I have three dogs and I think at first Nala would be a little confused and disappointed but after awhile she will get use to it, she may not like it at first, but after awhile she will get use to it and before you introduce Nala to the new dog make sure you take her for a walk or play with her to make her a little tired so when she meets the new dog she isn't riled up and slowly introduce her to the new dog
Also try to give the dogs the same amount of attention, so neither of the dogs get jealous
That's exactly what happened with my dogs. At first he was jealous but now they can live without each other and it's been like 8 months since I got my new dog.

I have two dogs that are both Maltese Shitzu's and when we got our second pup, our slightly older dog was definitely jealous. It is similar to having a second child in the sense that the older one would want all the attention back. Instead of trying to get attention from us, the older dog actually sat alone and drooled (it's a stress thing) and avoided all contact from us because she was so, super jealous. Eventually she realised that she liked the new pup and was almost like a mother to her. It was super sweet. They have loved each other ever since.❤ I'm sure if you got another pug, Nala would soon warm up to the new family member.

Super rare that dogs get like depressed or saddened by another dogs just know that it might take time before nala gets used to another dog. So in the beginning it might seem like the wrong thing to do but in the long run she's gonna love it. Some dogs adjust faster than other keep that in mind! Nala might not have any problems with a buddy, who knows! Worth a try in my opinion. Dogs are flock animals so either way it'll work out sooner or later because they will see each other as family even tho they may not love each other straight from the get go!

When my dog was one, my husband and I adopted a puppy that needed a home. The oldest is a lab/dachshund and we got a baby chihuahua/shihtzu. She treated the pup as if he were her own and took care of him. Now they're 3 and 2 years old, and don't fight for our attention nor did it change the her personality either. Getting a second baby was the best decision we ever made and we love them both more than anything! It's all about balancing the amount of attention you give each dog. Hope this helps!
We introduced a pug cross jack russell to our labrador and they adjusted fine. The pug is my brothers dog but we've now kept him because we know it would break out labs heart to separate the two of them. Especially if you get a puppy, as they would grow up and learn who the alpha dog is in the house, if you know what I mean. I think they would be fine, especially since Nala spent so much time with Buzz so she knows how to interact with other dogs. The only thing I can say is try not to change your normal routine too much if you get another dog because that could be the only thing that upsets her.
Also some tips would be to train the dogs together so they know that they're both equal and getting the same attention and introduce them slowly, otherwise it could just be a bit too full on.
Nala would eventually get used to the other dog!!! I have two dogs and they are both two different sizes dogs, and they love each other!!

I think Nala would like the company of another as she is always happy around other dogs and I would consider getting a French Bulldog or a English bulldog as they are both loving dogs and have similar personalities to Nala and do not need a lot of walking. And congratulations on your 4 year anniversary🎉

I have two dogs one Labrador and a springer. When we got out first dog we were worried about how are second dog would react in a jealous or sad way but if anything your original dog gets more attention and their personality shines through and you will never imagine them apart. I would say having 2 different breeds may be better so they are not to similar but I would recommend it. Like so Alfie can see !!xxx
