- Today's video starts our epic adventure to Arizona for a weeks worth of riding! Our first stop was Lake Havasu City to ride the Standard Wash OHV Park. It was by far the most demanding ride of the trip but it was an awesome time! I loved the exploration side of this place and I cant wait to come back with the proper set up. Big shout out to Ian, Mike, and Connor for helping make this video and trip so successful! I plan to come back here sooner than later to redeem this ride and go further than before!

I love the constant encouragement for Connor haha! I taught my wife how to ride in stuff like this! The terrain is so consistently gnarly throughout the desert SW that it's hard to find easy terrain to learn the ropes on!

I was in Connor’s shoes a little over a year ago now. Had rode dirt bikes in the past, but bought my first quad and was riding with people WAYYY out of my skill level. It sucks to have to sit back and watch but keep at it and you’ll get better with time man. This hobby is so much more fun once you are able to handle your own on your rig.

So weird watching my home town (Las Vegas) in the time lapse. The second you went through the gorge I knew where you were every second until you got to Havasu. It's a trip I do a couple times a week from Vegas to St. George and back to Vegas. Of course a lot of races in Havasu. Wish you guys would have hit me up when you came through town. I live 1 miles from the Las Vegas Motor Speedway that you drove past. So you basically drove right past my house. Hope to see you soon!

Holy crap I was born and raised in Havasu! Grew up riding Standard Wash. I was just down there last weekend actually.
You grew up in an amazing place man! I cant wait to go back! I plan to return next winter much more prepared 😅
Yeah had a blast! I remember taking my Blaster 200 down the street and ripping through the washes LOL. Be sure to swing by the Phoenix area next year too. Good riding at Sycamore Creek and Four Peaks (The rolls OHV). Beautiful views and great trails Maybe I’ll see you out there too! Love seeing fellow Raptor 700s out there!!

I usually run 10 on Trails in my AZ. You have to be careful with the big rocks. They will bend or crack your rims. Also it helps you not get any slashes or cut in the tires. Try the Prescott OHV or Gardner Canyon south of Tucson. That's where I am. In Tucson, AZ

Never push a newer Rider to ride over there limit that's how people get hurt Ride your Ride don't over do it there's always a time you can ride fast once you have more experience I've been riding over 30 years and still lean new stuff when riding the thing About desert riding and dune riding it can change over night with the weather

What an epic ride, that place looks like so much fun! Really loved the time lapse at the beginning. It was cool seeing you drive under the archway monument on I80 in Kearney, NE. I used to live there and remember it being built in the late 90s.

Pete I've been subbed to your channel for some time. I used to ride a trx450r. I moved to AZ for work. I appreciate your vids and to see you commute to Havasu is awesome! Dirt bikes are more suitable for the terrain here but to see you and your friends ripping is pretty cool!

A month ago my family and I took a trip to the st Anthony sand dunes in Idaho, IT WAS THE BEST THING IVE EVER DONE!!!
I was supposed o be on a yfz 450 😝but the rentals got screwed up so I was put on a trx 250😬 but I still had a blast!! Definitely going back sometime in the future 🤙

I've been following you the past few months and really enjoy your videos Pete! I tend to get so jealous when I see the places you ride in your neck of the woods and don't always appreciate the amazing riding experience in the desert. We are truly blessed here in AZ, I live in southern AZ in Tucson. We have many amazing ride spots and it looks like Lake Havasu is next on my list of places to check out! Sup pete you should stop by el mirage dry lake bed recreational area its a really good place its in adelanto CA and hour and a half from los angeles i really recomend it you should serch it up on youtube or google. And also theres a little bit of everthing there are some rocky areas some sand dunes sume aboandon mines pure desert and mountains

Great vid man I live in AZ and I’ve never been to this place but my grandpa has some land on the very outskirts of witinburg and there’s thousands of acres of land and trails that we ride all the time. If you were wondering we have a trx450, kfx400, and rzr xp1000

It’s fun me and my friends go down to the knolls all the time which is right by the salt flats
